Has anyone seen anyone's Dorf change personality in 44.11.

As an example, one of my dorfs had a bit of a verbal fight with another coworker in the library, and apparently it caused a fist fight (that I was unaware of).

A while later after mulling over the thought, he went from "very quick to anger" to "is quick to anger". It didn't change very much, but it changed.

Personality changes are brought on by long term memories and are shown clearly in magenta so you recognise them right away.
Something like "He personally truly values parties and merrymaking (a strengthening after a new romance in 252)"

Its a feature. Impregnating booze is a planned tech tree for dwarves and this is a sneak peek at it.

It's a neat system, but some tweaking I think is in order. I've seen a few dwarves now completely change their attitudes on life because they got rained on once.

You should have made more bad things happen to override his puny rain stress.

I was talking about importing alimunim.
And we were hypothesising about the sexual relations between elves and trees.

I have a dorf who never gets angry thanks to choking on miasma once. That was handy.

Clearly, he realised what fate awaits troublemakers. ;)

I'm pretty sure my entire fort's personalities have changed due to seeing dead bodies in year 50. Only a handful of observed cases have improvements from it, such as my legendarily badass captain of the guard/champion. His resolve just strengthened. I knew I liked him.

Also can later personality changes counteract earlier ones?

One of my dwarves is "impervious to the effects of stress, after being caught in the rain."

I can live with that.

Another one "would just as soon have nature and the great outdoors burned to ashes and converted into a great mining pit" because of the same reason.

Most of my dwarves' changes are due to retching on miasma (the occasional cave monster comes up into my fort and gets slaughtered by my military and then they take their sweet time getting the corpse out), but I found a few more interesting ones in with the rest:

I like this most - the dorf slowly becomes a masochist. Now if there were leather scourges in the game...
