[spoiler]Peoples Name: The Adjilia Coalition
Name: Jeremy Leiden
Scholar: Start off with bonus of five Tech points as one studied with holographic display computers.
Transhuman: The leader is in reality transhumanist, not a robotic, but organic. Look likes anything darn near wished to look like. With way better super human stats, and can still equip stuff.
Family Relics: Pick armor and weapon from list. Got it.
Gifted: Get a plus 2 to whole tribe stats with leader. Taught the whole tribe to be so awesome.
Forge Smith: Bonus in Engineering and Crafting. Making stuff up and keeping it maintained. Helps in Invention process in Arms Race mode +2 to one aspect pre gear made.
Transhuman form: Basically a shapeshifter. Leiden can assume any form so long as it doesn’t use more than 1.5 times the amount of mass in a typical human body, and he can do it on a whim. This includes being able to shift between an essentially solid and basically liquid consistency, and anywhere in between.
Relics:
-Smart EMP Laser Rifle: A prototype laser rifle that didn’t shoot your classic “it burns” lasers, but rather beams that disrupt electrical signals. Fired at a machine using electricity, it will disable it; shot at the brain of a living creature, it will send them into seizures before leaving them unconscious for a while. Has mods to make sure only Leiden (or a designated "heir") can use it.
-Force Shield Projector: A small badge hidden on Leiden's body. If he is attacked, it will create a force shield to block the harm. Leiden can also deliberately focus to make a force shield at will.
Clan skills:
Combat: 5+2=7
Tech: 11+(2+5)=18
Search: 5+2=7
Explore: 7+2=9
Farm: 15
Craft: 7+2=9
Medical: 14
Tame: 5+2=7
Engineer: 13+2=15
Book of Law:
1: Child Labor?
-The children can work. Just nothing dangerous. Able to hire children to some tasks.
2: What to do with the dead?
-Make use of the dead, gut organs for transplants and the rest reduced to fertilizer for boost in soil/farming.
3: How to Deal with Spats/Problems:
-Primarily, arbitration, to try to reach a mutually acceptable resolution. If that doesn't work, it will be taken before the council of Justices, who will make their own decision. It's generally better for both parties to wrap it up in arbitration, because if you go in front of the Justices, you have to pay them.
Starting treasure:
Info Web Relay: With this in place have constant feedback, no fog of war in exploring or patrols as signals are broadcasted constantly thanks to micro machines broad casting signals. Just have to have people go to said spots.
Virtues:
Justice: Seeing what is fair happening, above all else.
Compassion: Those that have not harmed us or shown intent to harm us will not come to harm by us. Those who have sought to harm us but genuinely seek to repent will be shown the way, after suitable punishment for whatever crimes they have committed.
Honor: Keeping a set of rules for yourself that you must obey to keep yourself on straight and narrow path.
Crimes:
Theft – Don’t. Punishment: you have to pay back twice the price, or work off the debt if you can’t. This said, someone stealing food or other such things because they can’t afford them is a shame on the community, not the thief.
Gambling (with money; doing it for the game itself is fine) and Drinking – This mostly just boils down to “don’t be an idiot, don’t do these to excess, and don’t do these at the same time”. The result is its own punishment. Anyone found to be profiting off of causing others to suffer from these will be punished in the same manner as for assault.
Lying – Lying with intent to harm is as bad as physical assault.
Physical Assault – This is a step below killing. We won’t kill you, but you will be branded as someone who assaults others (or lies malevolently, or runs a gambling ring, or sells alcohol), forced to pay the victim(s) for any options they have lost out on, and shunned by society.
Refusing to Help Others in Need – High on the “bad” list. You will be shunned.
Eating the wrong foods – You will not eat something when you don’t have reasonable cause to assume that you know what you’re eating. If a child who wouldn’t know better does this, it’s the supervising adult’s fault.
Being a bad guest or being a bad host – Hospitality is sacred on both sides of the exchange. You will be known as an asshole if you do these.
Killing not in self-defense – DO NOT DO THIS. Punishment: execution.
Techs:
Eye of Odin Head Set:
5,4,2+2 so 5,4,4
The world is a dangerous place. Sometimes will be out at night, other times they enemy will use camouflage. This head set design allows for a scout to be a mobile scanner. Nothing gets by their sight. Has to be worn and button turned on.
The head set itself is really light and costs 3 spare parts to make a unit. It is very light and water proof.
The only bugs it has is a tedious battery life, so carry spare batteries. But it gets the job done. Including telescoping feature. Though it’s sight mods can be turned on once at a time. Meaning no long range enchantment/thermos read at same time.
Happy hunting commander.
+ 4 to start with. (Free.)
Auto Mobile Project: Abandoned as not worth advancing due to die being 1,1,1
Due to Alliance and Deal. Got the Car.
Strider Stealth Car:
5,5,2. It worked but as for bonus two points to add on. Two to four?
Then a 4. For 5,5,4
“ The newest vehicle introduced to use is the Strider. A small vehicle that can fit two people. What makes the Strider note worthy is the Engine is relative low hum, wheels depending on terrain make smaller noise than the bulky apcs.
Like the APCs though it needs fuel. (Current models have two turns worth of fuel. They are powered by oil resource. Incase wondering.)
The Engine of the Strider can accept oil in theory as it is a combustion engine. But can accept wood and even coal. For true electric motor that no gas is needed. 1 Power Cell or 5 Batteries in place to make the difference. Though note due to stealth aspect of car, it’s frame is lightly constructed. Meaning even small arms fire can destroy the If hits the hood.
As for vehicle range. It can go to locations that would take one to two day walking travel pretty quickly, to add to time to do thing.
Kevlar Armor:
3,6,2 =4,6,5
It works. A classic old world armor blend. It is dirt cheap to make but nothing too advanced. Additionally added secondary plates wormed under kelvar. So that blades and piercing weapons get halted too.
Start with 16 Kevlar units.
Arms Race:
The Zip Gun:
4,6,1= 5,6,2
The Zip gun is a hand held pistol that emits emp energy. Perfect for frying the computers of said robots and can also stun people. The biggest issue is a cool down rate prevents rapid fire. But at least battery life is normal. Also the biggest irony is that the gun is pretty cheap to make.
2 scrap metal and 1 spare part.
Start off with 20.
Update
Animal Armor: Plating defenses for mammalian beasts. 5/5/4
That is the clan write up in Spoilers.
How to play this game: Interested people who want to sign up can and play with the clan in question.
It will be a SG game in which you order clansfolk to do work and try to thrive/survive.
Everyone once in a while get Arms Race mode where votes decide what gets made and so forth. A interesting feature are alliances. Can have one ally. Pc or npc you run across. Please note this can fall apart and not cool to spill the beans if then ally with a sworn enemy.
It should be noted there is a combat system of die rolls and such. Depending on condition of troops, gear and tactics. Please also note this is not your standard army system.
Your limited to six hundred (700 if Children take dangerous jobs.)
Yes, finite Troops. The way to get more manpower is accept npc outsiders. Find cryosleep banks and wake them up, defeat a enemy and get them to serve, Hell Can Even make your own robots.
Includes battle pets.
Or babies made and time lapse they grow. (As starting kids age too.)
The other factor that is different is that resources are finite. I will copy and paste the resources but food and ammo and crafts led are finite. Must have workers tending make shift farm land, hunt animals or even trade to get what you want. Hell there is a npc faction that goes around just for trade (best not fight, its possible but their loaded to the gills. Especially since ammo is like cash and they have batteries for energy weapons.)
So yes. This is thread to sign up for this side. There are three left.
As for rules of game, have fun. Think of cool stuff to do, and do not salty.
