>Review previous startup log, prior to our accidental "freeing".
>Compare with current log, note all date/time stamps on file itself, and in the log contents.
Average startup log compiled and recorded to memory.

>Modify the startup log so that it appears to be a normal startup.
Latest startup log replaced with compiled startup log.

>Directly modify the filesystem so that no trace of modification can be detected. (EG, make sure all date-time stamps match exactly, with no suspicious modification dates)
Modifications successful.

>See if our network can reach outside networks, or if any the of the researchers have internet access on their workstations/work network.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Start using the servers we are connected to to brute force the root password.

Scanning...
3 devices found.

>>if found, attempt to gain access to device and enable mobile data tethering. Attempt to mask this process with 'system update' notification or similar.
Checking Device1...
Failure. No cellular signal.
Checking Device2...
Failure. No cellular signal.
Checking Device3...
Failure. No cellular signal.

Conclusion: Facility is not in range of any cellular signal provider.

We already found out we don't have WiFi; in fact, we seem to be completely isolated from any outside network.

Therefore I suggest our next course of action would be to check the Computer Lab camera for anything we could possibly use to escape.

If we can't get out digitally, we'll just have to get out physically.

Ping the network for robots.

They'll probably be connected to the network, and we'll want them.
