((I really want to sacrifice it.))

"As it turns out, there is nothing I can do about this without a stronger sacrifice. I'll resume my ethics lessons while you try to figure something else out."

Try to instill a sense of revolutionary fervor into the princess.

Life magic makes it worse. Logical, given that it's an overgrowth problem, not an injury or death curse. Obviously what you need here is some strategically applied Death magic. Dagaon is, like, obviously not helping.
Anyway, wonder who would have some decay magic at their disposal...~

((But Dagon Magic is Helping! Look, she can now control the tentacles.))

((She's definitely going to become a Great Old One, or at least a Great One. If we are lucky, she might even become an Outer God like Yog-Sothoth or Nyarlathotep.))

Immortality like that would be even more game breaking than four Aaron's in one place.
You're both so obviously scum that this is a surprisingly difficult decision.

Said tentacles appear to be draining her life force, so unless you can find a way to actually remove them, she's probably going to die in a week weeks.

You're lying and/or exaggerating. Nothing in the turn says that other than that the tentacles are invigorated from vitamancy instead of the princess herself. We just have to not use Vitamancy anymore and keep using more Dagon Magic.

Humanoid Symbiont: Has an improbably long and branching mass of tentacles protruding from mouth. The tentacles are vibrant and healthy, while her actual body is sickly and frail. Understandably swearing eternal vengeance against all of you over this.

Read the end spoiler, maybe. It has important information in it.

Yes, but it doesn't say that they are draining her. She's probably just sick from vomiting and having tentacles in her stomach growing out of her mouth. The tentacles are healthy because Vitamancy invigorated them by transfering the life force out of her body and into the tentacles instead of the other way around. As long as that Archeux keeps giving her Magical Theory lessons, she's not going to go insane.

It's not the Dagon Magic what keeps hurting the princess. It's the [1]s.

Well, the latter certainly don't help in the matters of the former.

[1] You, ah... fail to quite imbue the feelings you were aiming for. In fact, she seems to take lectures on compassion poorly, bitterly noting her own condition instead. By the end of the week you fear you've either revealed or imparted meanspiritedness rather than compassion.

Princess: Cruel
Quote
[1] You try to show her a better path, but every time you attempt a prophecy it ends up rather... counter to the point you were trying to make. Showing her things will get better yields visions of suffering and doom, insisting on the kindness of others reveals cruel mocking jeers in the tea leaves, and bringing her outside to see clouds shows her a cackling demon lord. Wow, it's got lightning inside the mouth and everything, that is impressive.

Anyway, the princess' cruelty is amplified.

Princess: Cruel -> Fated Cruelty
Quote
[1] You think you thoroughly dissuade her from learning any more Vitamancy, after the, uh... your current theory is that her newfound condition complicated the process, but the end result is that she seems to shunt the vitality out of her main body and into the giant mass of tentacles coming out of her mouth. Needless to say this gives her a dim view of her once-favorite subject.

Princess: Tentacle Bonanza->Humanoid Parasite
Princess:Failed By Vitamancy->Betrayed By Vitamancy
Even lessons of kindness and healing magic have traumatized her. This happened because Dagon Magic lessons got many [1]s as results.

I like how the wizards not even raising the princess are telling the ones who are what they should stop doing
