Edit:
Design: "Snapping Turtle" Metallically Recombined Body Armor
As predicted, Metallic Recombinators are indeed capable of thoroughly depositing metal within organic material. Testing on a variety of materials have revealed many useful materials. Our armor, however, concerns only three. A simple metallized leather bodysuit maintains flexibility while being almost completely stabproof and shrapnelproof, and even bullet resistant. Over this are replaceable metallized wooden panels which, while known to break apart after repeated bullet impact, are extremely good at stopping high caliber rounds, splintering and dispersing the impact quite well when combined with the cusioning of the leather bodysuit. These panels are manufactured in several overlapping shapes together covering the torso, abdomen, and groin, front and back. To ensure that none of this armor comes apart at the seams, we have enlisted the help of domestic silkworm farmers. Once spun, this silk can be metallized to produce an almost unbreakable thread, which should be the last part of the armor to break. Do not floss with it, it cuts grooves in your teeth. For boots, we found that metallizing our existing boots lets them last just about forever, and to top it all off, a helmet, also manufactured from metallized wood and lined with ordinary leather absorbs some impacts and most flak. All in all, a vast improvement over our previous uniform of a cloth shirt and pants, a belt buckle, and boots.

The Iron Legion

Simply put, The Subjects that run through this process have the Multiple of there epidermis replaced with a high tactile metal (Perhaps Titanium if possible, if not a specially alloyed steel) along with the additional modifications to their nervous system. The Recombination chemicals are used on Cryostatic induced individuals while the limbs of the subject are stripped of their skin, given a much thicker application of the Recombinators to cement in pre-placed metal plates on their arms and legs. The end result is that the arms are much, much more durable, In addition, the Peripheral Nervous System (Everything but the brain) is changed just as much as the Central Nervous system is.

The end result is a soldier whose entire nervous system has been developed, altered on an intrinsic level to hopefully be superior in every way. Their skin is steely and gray while holding the natural regenerative process of "normal" skin. (Incidentally, the subjects now require a specialized diet of ground metal nodules in addition to their normal diets.). The mind of the people who go through the process of becoming a legionary is slightly scrambled due to the intensive process of the ordeal, but resources are in place for them to adjust, requiring up to a year of adjustment (In optimal cases) after the process is done so that the soldier is used to their enhanced body.  Only the skin and the mind is modified (Muscles are a secondary priority if possible.), but "ports" emplaced to allow easier (Syringe based) along with built-in reservoirs allows the soldiers to live up to two months without injections before going mad. For some reason, the subject's hair may come into existence with extremely odd coloration, usually in the neon blues, greens, or reds. other colors exist, and the scientists aren't really sure why this happens.
Revision: Iron legion
Hard: (1+1)-1 = 1: Utter Failure

Well, we estimate that this project would have been harder due to the "jumping right in". We were to attempt modifying subjects' peripheral nervous systems, their skin, and include ports/reservoirs for Spice-derived drugs. Even with the headstart on organic modification we got from our prior design project, this is a lot of work for its allotted time.

We've done this in a way. We have subjects who have gone through the procedure. They have metal skin and haphazard-yet-functional "ports" for easy injection of drugs. The ports can be fitted by tubing to another source (say - if we wanted to "hook them up" to a larger tank) or a syringe can be injected into the ports.
The problem is a doozy. Every subject who has gone through the process is dead. Very dead. Not "we just lost him!" or "they can't survive long!" but rather they very decisively die during the process. Luckily the loss of test subjects isn't particularly harmful to our efforts. But the loss to science is another story.

The first problem is the method of application. We're unable to get the Metal Recombinators to properly "integrate" the metal plating to replace the skin. As far as the subject is concerned, they're simply skinned alive but now in a shape-conforming metal coffin. While this has to be addressed if we ever want to give our subjects serious natural armor, we can always simply go with a simpler solution of "reinforcing" existing skin with the Metal Recombinators. The real problem hasn't manifested at this point.

Metal Recombinators are, ultimately, designed to strip an entire piece of ore down to the metal and the rest of the rock. The variant we use for the "reinforcement" procedure is practically the reverse - combining two materials seamlessly, in a way. But the "entire piece" part remains.
Our reinforcement variant "attempts" to modify the entire body. While simple tissues such as skin can handle the reinforcement, more sensitive parts of the body - like the central and peripheral nervous system, among others - can't handle this. Their functions are fundamentally disrupted by the reinforcement procedure, causing the entire body to simply stop working. Some of our scientists believe that, based on recent external studies regarding DNA, this is due to wholescale modification of the subject's DNA. It's a slow and - if the subject were conscious - painful process. As the Metal Recombinator spreads through the body, parts of it just stop working. A grim fate. To our R&D efforts, that is.

So overall, the Iron Legion project is a bust. For now. We have confidence that a revisit to it could give much more viable results now that we know more about what we're dealing with. We've learned a decent bit on how our techniques interact with the human body and its modification.

Import: Santos-Class Naval Aircraft Support Vessel
The blueprints for the Santos-Class arrive on schedule, smelling heavily of rum. We have just enough resources to make the entire thing Very Expensive.

Quote
Santos-Class Naval Aircraft Support Vessel: The Santos is a large aircraft carrier. It is about the size of the Khorne but not armored. It's powered by four oil-burning steam turbines, which are more powerful than coal ones. The hangar deck stores two dozen fighters, moved to the flight deck by a hydraulic lift. On deck is an Eagle Eye Radar system, con tower, a few Firecracker AA guns and a miscellaneous autocannons wherever there's spare room. It also has a decent sized flight deck, with an arrester cable for landing aircraft, and two overlapping runways with room for ready aircraft on deck. It also has a steam catapult, which allows it to launch some planes which could not normally take off from its short runway. [5 Ore, 4 Oil]

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Synthesized Manufacturable Refined Oil (SMRO-58) "SynthOil":
Synthetic oil is a special type of chemical produced in the Refinery to allow an manufacturable product that can serve as an artificial supplement to devices that require oil. Chemical compounds are delicately and artificially created in laboratory working conditions that create a modified human-created version of petroleum that works that same as normal oil but it much more cheaper to manufacture and utilize with vehicles. One of the nice features because it's artificial means that it's much more safer for the environment when compared to crude petroleum or animal-based oils. One of the strengths of this artificial oil is that it can be altered to its very own specification where special cases of oil have to utilize, jet engines for instance require a huge amount of thermal energy that synthetic oil can handle but crude versions can not. This mass producible product will surely give great booms for our economy and resource storages.

The efficacy of the oil is comparable to even slightly better than crude version, it as a fuel source has a quite amount of high-energy content in the lubricant which means it can be utilized and last longer than traditional variants when it is in usage, and this is not even counting the excess of oil storage always having SynthOil on hand making it seems like there is no end to the stuff. It it also crafted to be slightly more stable compared to the traditional oil, which means when unfortunate explosions happen with vehicles to tools with oil, they will make a much smaller condensed explosion. We imagine creating a chemical compound that can reflect the role of petroleum shall be doable and be able to be mass manufactured is the goal here.

Design: 'Bottleopener' Recoilless Rifle
Patriotically designated an updated Pursuit rifle, the two machine guns do not share a single part in common and the Bottleopener is, if anything, more closely related to imported Cannalan autocannon designs. Although lacking the signature twin barrel of a true Cannalan design, the Bottleopener does incorporate a recoil absorbing hydraulic piston that reduces its ordinarily ferocious recoil to a firm, constant push, easily compensated for by the operator. This allows simultaneous and significant increases to both effective range, by way of improved accuracy, and stopping power, by way of larger bullets with no corresponding decrease in control of the weapon. With the flip of a switch, the piston can also be put into a low pressure mode, and the gun itself into a merely semi-automatic mode. If the trigger is pulled fast enough in low pressure mode, the recoil compensator will rapidly become overwhelmed, but firing one shot every two seconds will eliminate all recoil and a double tap will have only a small kick on the second shot, allowing for an effective multirole weapon.

Cell Booster ‘Triple-A’
The first true foray into chemical infusion via the CryoStat system, this set of chemical catalysts act to improve the speed of existing biological processes such as acetylcholine and acetylcholinesterase interactions, improving reaction times and feedback for more precise muscle control. Combined with adenosine triphosphate flooding to enhance muscle cell growth during treatment, this turns the soldiers undergoing this process into super soldiers.

Synthesized Manufacturable Refined Oil (SMRO-58) "SynthOil"
Normal: (4+4) = 8: Unexpected Boon

SynthOil is a step above anything we've seen.

The first thing to cover is its effect on our supply. SynthOil can be made using our current oil supply or from a set of independent chemicals. As we don't (and never will) have enough supplies to manufacture a very large amount of SynthOil, by leveraging our current oil supplies we can effectively convert our entire stockpile to the new stuff while still gaining +1 Oil. Everything - new and old - already using oil will be using SynthOil unless otherwise stated.

The second thing to cover is, well, everything else. SynthOil is an extremely effective fuel. Completely stable, able to be used for a wide variety of tasks, and it is very long-lasting. Those currently controlling the supply of oil in the civilian sector will be very disappointed at the decreased demand. That and the bonus in effective supply is everything we had originally aimed for, but there is another effect.
SynthOil can and was designed to be burned or processed like normal oil, but it has an unanticipated additional process. When bombarded with specific types of radiation, it can practically directly yield usable electrical energy (instead of, say, how an internal combustion engine more indirectly extracts energy). And not just the energy that we add in when making the SynthOil, but everything in the "natural oil" itself as well. This is in all the most basic of terms, of course, but it's somewhat like if you crossed the advantages of an internal combustion engine with a battery. This particular avenue of research hasn't gone far - we just have a prototype "engine" in the R&D Lab that, while quite large and bulky, manages to successfully directly extract power from SynthOil. But we're confident that this technology can be made practical with effort.

The M3TA1 Raider and Parrot are now Cheap with the new oil. The Corsair is now Expensive.

Two ideas with a similar theme.

Metal Spice
We tried applying the metal fusion process to Spice. The result is a liquid metal with the same properties as Spice. As the body is less able to break down or remove the Metal Spice, those who are infused with it are essentially affected by it on a more permanent basis. This should dramatically reduce the amount of Spice we need to produce to keep our Spice addicts happy.

Metal Minds
By bonding Metal Recombinators to Spice via a chemical that acts as a temporary glue, we can direct the metal fusion process inside the body to locations we would most like to effect. We can induce metal fusion within the brain using a sufficiently selective process as to allow survival of the test subject.

Revision: T/Raider
An extremely simple modification of the M3T1A1 Raider, the turret and passenger section of the T/Raider have both been removed, with a socket in their place allowing the T/Raider to tow a large trailer. Different trailers can have different functions, from large boxes with wheels for transporting solid objects to large cylinders with wheels for transporting liquid objects, and even large rectangles with wheels for transporting oddly shaped objects and large buckets for transporting dirt, ore, or many small objects.

High Energy Spice Interactions

A subtle modification  of existing Spice materials , the high energy petrochemical reactions  injected into accompanying chemical tanks allow Spice and its offspring designs to initiate increased stability and more extreme benefits.

Essentially, Synth Oil is used with Spice to result in a more effective material.

Are you trying to use the electrical effects of SynthOil exposed to radiation? The only other 'high energy reaction' SynthOil has is burning, and I don't see how fire helps us here.

I was thinking of using its exotic chemistry to make it so that a metabolic process that can be done by the human body with interactions by Spice allow it to fair better in situations where spice is used.

Elecromagnetically Assisted Grenade Launcher "Jumper"
A portable variation on the Thumper tubes built into all Raiders, the Jumper incorporates a six stage coilgun into the barrel, and a copper wire coil into compatible grenades. Other than this coil, Jumper grenades are identical to Thumper grenades. The form factor of the Jumper is that of a fat shotgun with an underslung housing containing electronics and a cooling system. Loading the Jumper is performed by inserting a Jumper grenade directly into the rear of the gun, as without an explosive charge, an unvented barrel would actually decrease projectile velocity. A mechanical release button allows unfired grenades to be retrieved if it becomes nessecary. To feed the coilgun power, the Jumper uses the first mass produced SynthOil batteries, and includes a radioactive "key" which the batteries are slotted around when loaded. Each brick sized battery is good for five shots before needing to be replaced, with a plug-and-play design making this almost as easy as loading the grenades themselves.

In operation, the Jumper is almost silent (not counting the grenades exploding), and slightly improves on the range, accuracy, and rate of fire advertised by Cannala's portable Thumper, with dramatic improvement to rate of fire over the five shots until the battery needs replacing.
