C. The 13 men remaining should be able to suitably keep them under guard, and it seems that local authorities have been unable to really deal with the Goons, so to higher authorities they go.

You mean the 6 men. The Baron's garrison will be returning to wherever they're usually stationed. Presumably, Celling's force will take the trains back.

B. We asked for volunteers, we got volunteers. A bit less than the expected average, but oh well. Dealing with magic in a setting that mostly lacks it takes quite a bit of courage.

Fair enough.

Change due to information that our own men cannot themselves guard the goons on the train because they're going searching for the Mittani's corpse:

The Baron's guards will instead.

Come on, they now know they could have been infiltrated by Goonswarm at some point, they know they can't necessarily rely on the nearby authorities. It only makes sense.

Don't worry too much about the one mistake, Smoke Mirrors. Your character was memorable for all the demonology and story writing.

I’m running a game/mechanics test called Fate/Mechanics Test. Feel free to check it out.

You have chosen CB a new scheme.

Falkland Islands

A crackling burst of light opens up near the edge of a cliff, and David steps out of it, with Celling right behind.

“Show-off,” says Celling, standing firmly on the rocky precipice. The sky is bright, with clouds scattered sporadically throughout. A strong wind is blowing, and below him, the ocean waves crash against the shore.

The soldiers have been sent to recapture the Mittani’s body. The guards are on their way to the Andes Mountains, guarding the treasonous soldiers.

  • BONUS: Scientific designs get one die automatically 4
  • BONUS: D7s are rolled on anything relating to Wenton Celling
  • Fingerprint scanners on military base doors
  • Uplifted dogs
  • Lobotomized child soldiers called “Cherubs”
  • Plans for a shield against Andantesite wormhole disruption, although power-intensive and requiring a lot of Andantesite
  • Large, cracked Andantesite shard, ready to link
  • Radio-frequency Andantesite disruptor - 14.03 hour working time
  • Loading of wormhole onto SFN Pylos planned, to follow Magellan back home
  • Hammerspace parrot
  • Venomous implants for dogs
  • Hammerspace disruption masers, although in control of Padelheb Fansworth

Plot points to be resolved:
  • T. Levin inspecting Tommy DeMarco’s memory removal, then leaving for America
  • Interrogating captured rebels
  • Order of the Stick
  • Padelheb’s remaining supporters
  • Eddie Nichols, an intern, knows bits and bobs about a “fourth wall”
  • Baron’s guards escorting traitors back to Andes

“So, uh, where’s the ship?” asks David

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

Celling squints. “Is that it over there?”

They stare at the tiny dot on the horizon for a while. “How long until it gets here?” asks David.

“Probably several hours. You can’t teleport there?”

“It’s not safe until it’s much closer,” David responds.

Celling sighs resignedly. “Oh well. I hope you like sitting around and watching penguins.”

Bridge, John Philip Sousa

Fansworth resolves to destroy the lifeboats so that the Goons and the rebel cannot escape.

As you can see, there are four clusters of lifeboats. Travel times from the bridge (get it?) have been marked in turns. Please specify:

1. The route Fansworth should take (what lifeboats he visits, and in what order)
2. Whether he should be taking the open (blue numbers) or sneaky (red numbers) route

Remember, the parrot will delay the Goons as much as possible.

If Fansworth arrives at the lifeboats at the same time, or crosses paths while walking on an open path, there will be a fight.

Where are the Goons right now? We should know, due to the parrot.

In fact, the parrot can pretty much tell Fansworth where on the boat the Goons are the entire time because of the fourth-wall connection.

Figure out based on the parrot descriptions.

Right before it hits, the parrot wings its way up back to the ship.

The rebel and Goons are in the distance now. You are flying along the right (starboard) side of the ship, along a part of the deck that is just a narrow strip besides the superstructure wall to your left.

The group appears to be coming this way.

Can you add the superstructure walls to the map?

And am I correct in my assumption that the boat is going in the downward direction? Since the pointy end is down.

The superstructure is where the bridge is. A rectangular area around it.

You can assume whatever you want to assume.

The parrot can undoubtedly see the shape of the ship, Blue. Or at least the shape of the back.
