A, dogs are awesome, A+D, dogs are awesome again.

Can we at least put some guards in the wormhole room? Or maybe... do we have security cameras yet? If we don't, can we drill a tiny hole in the wall that can be looked through in a second room?

We don't quite have security cameras. The room is generally chock-full of people at their stations - and no, they are not all facing away from the entrance, there's generally several officers waiting around, ready to grab a weapon if an attack shows up. There's no sneaking into here.

D, then C + B

The populace should already be looking for them, and as great as soldiers , cherubs and dogs ARE they won't know how to investigate gravitational anomaly's our scientists should and if it's some sort of weapon causing problems, theeen we need to be careful.

Anyone see a problem with this plan of mine?

D and C.

Adding more teams makes negative die rolls and really scientists do anolmay.

And public should now deal with rebel hunt.

Cherubs are for killing things dead.

Maybe the anomaly is the rebels, maybe another thing

A, dogs still are good trackers, if their track lead to the anomaly they will get there for free :v

C,E Cherubs are too weird to be on the citizens views right now, but they are a hell of a fighter with a cute face (in case it's rebels) so they can protect the scientists, and the scientists could deal better with the anomaly

The specialists and their protectors

Being a Brazilian this all is being very funny to imagine. I can even visualize the rebels running my street and going in the general direction of the beach

Your options for anomaly team:
A: Dogs + police
B: Bomb squad + engineers
C: Just scientific team
D: Scientists and Cherubs
Please state your team choice in terms of these options.

Cool! I know nothing about Brazil, so I suppose I'm doing something right.

Meh. D then. Might as well have super soldiers guarding nerd heads as they examine. They are likely to kick ass at least.

As tempting as D is we need a cover story for why scientists are to the layman's eyes escorting children to a disaster zone, I say B is what we need.

A gravitational anomaly isn't a disaster zone.

It's fairly conspicuous though.

Also the search vote is tied between dogs and wanted posters.

But it doesn't matter.

Surprisingly little matters here.

Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

B.

Thank you.

Now the second vote is tied as well.

I'm sure I am not getting any first-vote votes anymore, so I'll default it to A because dogs implies with public search and public search implies no dogs.

Since the second vote is tied too, I'm sending scientists, bomb squad, and Cherubs. That makes for a nice -2 once we enter combat…

There are two things happening here, the dogs trying to find the rebels and the rebels finding the anomaly, possibly by following your troops. If the latter succeeds the former is moot as the rebels go right to you.

Spoiler: Dice (click to show/hide)

The team of scientists and engineers, with their Cherub bodyguards, arrive at the anomaly. A large patch of the ocean seems to have peeled up, forming a long swirling something above the ocean surface. At the center, something green throbs.

The scientists stop along the shore and report back. “That's a original Wall offensive crystal - someone's activated it. It's inverting gravity around it, and we can't move it because of the repulsion field, but with enough time I could break the link and deactivate it.”

The commander overseeing this mission is also confident that the Cherubs have enough strength to push through the field, but it would need all of them for several minutes.

One of the team notice three figures standing on a nearby spit of sand. One of them jumps off and swims towards the anomaly.

Options:

A: Have the scientists work on the anomaly and the Cherubs go after the figures
B: Have the Cherubs attempt to remove the object
C: Do nothing, wait for the figure to approach closer.
D: Order the scientists to work with all possible speed; watch the figures

Have the scientists working on it, but once they're able to disconnect it, have them wait until we're pretty sure we won't be interfered with. Don't do anything about the figure yet, but if it seems like they'll take the anomaly, or try to attack us, Cherubs attack.
