Well, I believe we do waaay too many revisions, while the enemy produces actual new equipment.

So, I propose that we spend only 2 dice on revisions, one for a big ship tactic and one for ground improvement. I could be convinced for 3 dice, but we can't spend yet another turn with 4 revision dice. We need true design tier improvement at some point, and we can't do it if we spend all the dice elsewhere.

1 Dice to EMERALD: (3) Tack, Milo, Andrea

 - 0 dice: (1) Milo
E.S.P.:
-2 dice: (1) Andrea

Total project dice

-3 :(1) Andrea

I prefer ESP to aether forge, since it will help a lot with a tactic design that we sorely need for our now enormous fleet.

I agree that ESP is more important that the Aetherforge, but I remind you that it is currently still massive, even after a size-reducing-revision. I say 1 die, and spend 1 die on another ESP revision. Cos we can't really deploy it as it is now.

When it comes to revisions, getting our guns to be reliable would allow us to field something completely different, even if it isn't as ideal as a proper design, we don't have time for that...
Still, 2 or 3 revisions sounds good to me... And Sapshot grenades sounds like a terrible idea, sorry..

Will Votebox later. Sleep now.

We don't have the dice to spend right now, we really need them for revisions to get get ready for the big push on TC.

* Fix a big ship tactic
* Some kind of infantry improvment, or two, or three (we are kinda behind on infantry tech, and there are several revision worthy things we can do that will help quite a bit).

we won't close the gap on the ground with revisions only.
we need to be ready for a big push at TC, that is true. But they are vastly outnumbered (if we reinforce roughly 3 to 1) and next turn we will still be in our fortifications. What we need to win this encounter, or at least stall them and bleed them, is just some minor improvement, not a wide revisioning campaign, as long as we win the sky. And if we get that big ship tactic, it shouldn't be hard.

Hence why I propose to only spend 2 revision dice, one for the big ship tactic, and one for a singular ground imrpovement to help the push. Bigger improvements can wait until we can give them proper attention.

Sapshot grenades are great, just make the cover non-sticky. Area denial is wonderful for defense---you can't walk through a burning noxious fume-filled hallway, after all.

Also would make it incredibly dangerous to move through the spider tunnels. If those suddenly fill up with poison, life is going to suck for anyone in them.

just with that, they would have significant effectiveness.  Ideally, I would hope for the non sticky cover to be partially or totally removable (in case of totally removable, we would put a stick in the ball for throwing), so that it could even stick to targets. Targets such as their mobile barricades and shields.

It should be noted that sapshots are currently contained in bags, so a non sticky cover is already included.

We should at least make some progress in our other projects, and I feel that 3 die will be enough. 2 for ground revisions, and one for a better big ship tactic.

EMERALD
Progress: 9/12 (1)

The man writing the report to excuse this delay is out to lunch. Permanently. Check back when we've found a new employee who gets less cheese on the paperwork.

E.S.P
Progress: 6/20 (2)

You wouldn't believe the number of grilled cheese sandwiches the man ate, nor his proclivity for putting them... wherever.  Seriously, cheese EVERYWHERE. You haven't tried to re-write a report until you've had to un-redact three pages of gouda and fight a rat the size of a spaniel for the other six pages.

Spire Wreth's Production Stands At,
13(+8)/y Crystal, 44/65 Banked
19(+2)/y Ore, 47/95 banked
19(+6)/y Wood, 74/95 banked
10/y Silk, 24/50 banked

It is now the revision phase. You have 3 dice to spend.

Quote from: sapshot grenades
Simply put, a standard sapshot, prepared without the lead balls. It has some useability features: it is small enough to comfortably throw (in case removing lead doesn't achieve this already), part of the bag is removable, it has a fuse and it has a longer string used to facilitate throwing.

Use cases:
-remove part of the bag, ignite fuse, throw. Useful against shields and barricades, since it will stick and burn.
-don't remove bag, ignite fuse, throw. Useful when you want it to bounce or roll
-open a few, smash them together and leave in a gooey explodey pile on the ground. ignite the throwing string to have enough time to flee, or shoot at it from afar.

caution advised, potentially flammable , toxic and impossible to get rid of.

Sapshot isn’t explosive?
It’s literally a bunch of incendiaries all gummed together. You could maybe attach it to a shield and light it on fire but sticky grenades were never known for their personal safety.
