Glass/Jack: (1 on map)
Location: Men'Sann Fief jail Courtyard
Health: 7/7
Possession:
5/100 Winter
11/100 Summer
The four of you decide that, while both offers are nice, you will decline. Really. OK then. Mmm. Fine. ((The quest markers will stay, but you do not have to do the quest.))
You also decide that an adventure to the Outlands sounds fun, so you follow the other guy upstairs. The Demon Hunters follow behind.
(5 vs 9)
Once you all get back upstairs and enter the main courtyard, the Demon Hunters seems to realize they are supposed to be hunting you. One of them shouts, "Sound the alarm! Demons are in your midst!"
The other four point their weapons at you and the other possessed, but do not attack this turn as they are still slightly disoriented. The fifty or so prison guards (you know most of their names by heart) on the walls and in the barracks begin shouting and running out into the courtyard. The other possessed curses again. Really, someone should wash out that man's mouth. Oh, don't be a spoilsport.
You feel Summer's pull increase.
Smoke Mirrors/Raven: (2 on map)
Location: Menn'Sann Fief jail Courtyard
Health: 6/6
Possession:
10/100 Lucifer, Knowledge and Thought
You want to begin the journey to the Cave. But first, you need to make it out of this prison, with Jack in tow. However, when you reach the surface, Jack's hold on the guards slips. You mutter an expletive under your breath, and then when the fifty prison guards stream into the courtyard you curse again. Ooh, this should be fun.
The Demon Hunters point their weapons at you and Jack, while the other guards are still forming up, some in their sleeping attire, those on shift in full armor, and some wearing half armor, as if they had been in the middle of changing. One had a boot jammed on his head, which was quite the fashion statement.
You get the sense that Lucifer is jumping around inside your head and clapping his hands while giggling, which is contributing to a rather unpleasant headache, and not actually helping at all.
crazyabe/Jacque: (3 on map)
Location: The outskirts on an unknown Sanni families' territory
Health: 6/6
Possession:
10/100 Montherus, Forbidden Knowledge
(6)
You reluctantly place the palm sized book into a pocket and begin heading Northeast. You travel for the good part of a day, walking through a black ash filled waste land. The castle fades behind you, replaced with ashen dunes and small, scraggly trees under a dusty sky. The Sanni mountains rise in front of you in the distance, and you halt on the edge of Sanni territory. The change isn't an immediate flip, but the ground in front of you certainly rises higher than the dunes behind and there are traces of rock poking our from the ashes. these lands contain mostly trappers, herders, and miners. nothing of any real use to me- i mean you.
OceanSoul/Jay: (4 on map)
Location: Above a Garrowsson Territory village, hiding in a forest.
Health: 7/7
Possession:
10/100 Velur@s, Ferality ((Adds 1 health per 10 points of possession as well as +1 to unarmed attacks in combat or other suitably violent moves))
(6)
You wander aimlessly further South, and gradually the flatter pastures on the edge of the Garrowsson Territory are replaced with hillier and hillier terrain. By the time you get through half of the families' territory, you are forced to abandon secret paths and follow well trodden roads, as the land in front of you becomes true mountains.
You detect a village up ahead through some previously unknown sense, and move closer for a better look. The road you are travelling on passes through a cleft in the rock, and behind is a vale below. The village is hewn out of the rock, with farms below. The houses are all clinging on to the edge of the valley wall, next to a massive waterfall which flows into a pool below. The road descends into the valley, but just on the other side of the rock cleft is a small forest hanging onto a grassy outcrop, so you hide in the forest.
The urge to consume and rip and tear is stronger than ever, but not terribly unbearable yet.
((Sorry it took so long, but the update is now up. And things are starting to happen. Does anyone know a good way to embed images? If so, I might start drawing the places you guys have been for later reference, and put them into the post when I describe things.))
