Here's a thought. What if instead of pillaging the temple, we used it to communicate with its patron god. If we intend to fight this bog spirit guy, it might be nice to have some back up from this other god.
An alliance might be something to consider. At least, until we are ready to kill that god too.

You aren't done tomb raiding just yet.  You head back down for a spot of further investigation.

You plumb deeper into the depths, moving through the empty catacombs you have already cleared and down to older, better-constructed crypts.  you find two over the course of four days, clearing out the inhabitants either in small groups or one by one, and picking up various trinkets along the way {1000 silver coins} until you reach what you realise is the shell of an actual tomb complex, akin to the one Prince Narsis was buried in.  It looks like there are probably six distinct tombs within the complex, with five outer tombs and one inner tomb.

A) Stealth and discretion have served us well up to this point.  Keep taking these mummies out quietly and in small groups, we're here for treasure not trouble.
B) Why not have a bit of a challenge?  Let's try taking on each tomb as a whole, one at a time, and face every enemy within as one.  !
C) Let's double down on glory here.  Tear each tomb door open and challenge the entire tomb complex at once!  !
