Let's try to find a husband for our sister. Even if Feir's family is all committed to the Ruscans, he might have important nobles who might want to marry the heir to the throne of Methiant.

You decide to mingle with some minor nobility instead.

You learn that the noblemen of Eldrican are wary of Feir's ambitions. Apparently, as far as the rumors amongst them go, he wants to spread his dynasty across southern lands and create an empire that will have Methiant burn with jealousy. He is also introducing many concepts from Damdamian Empire, namely some book manufacturing item, as well as the concept of 'hospitals' where sick people are kept under care of numerous healers, as well as, very controversional for the nobles, scaling tax that's apparently going to have them pay more than peasants do.

You also learn that the Duke of Tirine, a fervent Damedian and strong supporter of Feir, is looking for a spouse for either of his children; his young son and heir needs a wife, and his eldest daughter, apparently of scholarly disposition, still goes around without a husband despite being in her twenties.

You decide to...

A) Offer your sister Aine as a a bride for his son and heir.
B) Mention that your uncle Deathan has unwed sons, and you're sure he would be willing to provide a husband for Duke's eldest daughter.
C) Do nothing about it.

As much as I want to find Aine a husband, this is not the best match. We should probably keep her as our heir until our son comes of age, and we have prophecies indicating that there may be issues with our son's inheritance. This means her kids by this union could wind up heir to both Methiant and Tirine, which would be very messy indeed..

Still, might as well set up ties with the guy. B. Deathan's own wife is the daughter of a fervent Damdian, so we might as well keep that tradition going with his sons.
