so both of our greatest foes are still superpowers while we are weak this is reeeeeeally bad. But the reformed Gupta empire must scare them both more than we do so maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

They aren't foes, they're not hostile towards Methiant, also we aren't weak at all, we have 10 army, a martial genius and several military aiding artifacts. Militarily speaking we're the strongest we've ever been. It's unlikely that both the empire and the republic would intervene should we invade Eldrican as they're not allied to them.
