You and the messenger form the west retreat to one of the side chambers. You move to the table to take a seat.
"Not that we are safe from ears of others, let us talk about Prince Yovak's-"
*TWANG*

The miniature bolt strikes you in the calf, piercing the bone! You tumble over the chairs as the would-be assassin curses loudly.
The guards burst in as you lie in the growing pool of your own blood.
"Healer! Bring a healer at once!!" Your guards yell as the 'messenger' is beaten up and tied down.
Few hours later
The healers are tending to the wound in your leg, which is deep and serrated thanks to the bolt of the small crossbow used by the assassin. The Advisor appears at the side of your bed and bows his head.
"The captain of the guard has commited suicide over this incident. His successor had the assassin interrogated. We've found out that he had a tiny crossbow under his long cloak, with just one bolt specially sharpened to deal the worst damage. The only information the guards learned is that the assassin was working for Queen Karkhuta."
"This must be because she learend of her nephew's plot." One of the courtiers murmur, and the Advisor sighs.
"We don't know that. Maybe they've staged it together." He looks at you. "Rest now, my liege."
The next evening

Your leg radiates pain just as much as it radiates heat, or maybe the heat is coming from your head. You're not sure, but you feel very exhausted.
"It has become infected?" The Advisor glares at the healers, who are very much scared.
"Partially, but that is because the barbed head of the bolt must've been coated in poison or old blood. The wound refuses our standard medicinal ointments and herbal essences." The Advisor turns to you.
"My liege, we continue the interrogation of the assassin, which has so far been fruitless, so we do not know if it's really Queen Karkhuta that sent him. Shall we declare war upon the Felonsines in response to this act of utmost treachery anyways?" You decide to...
A) Nod your head approvingly.
B) Shake your head in dissagrement.
