You ride in to help Houlandin bring San down!
3*
The fighting is fierce and San manages to fight you both on more than equal footing.
At one point, you get slashed across head. You fall from the horse, your back meeting the ground in a most painful way as your horse rides away. You quickly sit up to look at Houlandin, still fighting San!
They continue on even as you lift yourself from the ground. Houlandin strikes San in the abdomen, but the Evalian prince soon repays by cutting at his left leg.

Moments later, as you blink, Houlandin's mace descends upon San's face. The crunch is audible even while combat rages around you, but the sight of San's body plummeting to the ground without resistance is most satisfying - especially when he doesn't stand up.
Houlandin lets out a cry of victory and soon Methiantese soldiers around repeat after him.

Death of San has immediate and pretty obvious repercussions; his horsemen scatter, and peasants dissolve into chaotic, disorganized mass that is mowed down. The battle, while it lasts another hour, has already ended in victory.
By the evening, your Army celebrates destruction of the rebel forces.
Your officers gather in a council, as future of Eval and its peoples is to be decided.
A) Their popular leaders and noblemen are to be 'dealt with', and replaced with Methiantese aristocracy, officials and important families.
B) We've dealt with the rebels, now its time to show a gentler hand to the dumb sheeple covering in their hamlets at the moment!
C) Repercussions will be harsh and before we return to Methe, there will be less Evalians in Eval than ever before!!
