I do believe we have some history with this fellow. We are the only ones to have beaten him before, and when we did so it was completely. We rolled a 10 I think. If I had to guess, I would say he considers us his mortal enemy.

Unfortunately the moment you do so, you're in a valley, surrounded by hills. San's forces turn around, no doubt his scouts notifying him of the pursuit, and currently his cavalry is rushing toward the hillsides!

A) Retreat, retreat! We can't fight like this!
B) Let's try to grab a hill before the bulk of his rabble arrives!
C) Attack, attack! First we knock his detached cavalry, then the insurgent himself!

You meet enemy forces on the hill, your cavalry's charge led by Houlandin.

Meanwhile, as the battle for the hill rages, your men spot San's troops! They're running toward you and your men, and the battle commences.

Despite the rabble being rabble, they're fighting most brilliantly and with high morale. You don't see this little military genius, San, but you can feel it in your bones that he is leading his troops personally.

That easily shows because your men are losing ground! You order your reservists to come to the frontlines and push the peasants into the ground!

The counter-attack doesn't go well and your flank is about to crumble! You look to the hill; Houlandin has taken it from the looks of it, but you can still see many Evalian cloaks fluttering on the backs of the forces fighting there.

You need to solve your own dilemma without Houlandin's help for the time being.

A) CHAAARRRGGEEE!!!
B) Retreat, retreat! We will fight some other day!
C) Take a step back, then do a regroup, and then we attack again!
