Establish Scaling Tax IIRC we just beat the shit out of some rebels, so those that would revolt over this are already spent. And more money to pour into other edits is good too.

Those who would rebel and lack the resources to fight on their own might just lend men/spies/advice/other treacheries to the Damdamians. We really don't need discontent among our own people now.

Extablish Vault System.

Our Dwarfish necklace isn't working, and I think somewhere I remember hearing that Eldrican are involving the Dwarves in their plans to deal with us. We should suck up to the short folks. Damdamins don't like non-humans, so by all rights they should fight on our side.

You decide to implement the Vaults into state economy. Your underlings will contact the dwarves to provide teachers and overseers to help raise the first generation of Methiantese Vaulters.

1214 AD, Spring

A lone diplomat from Eldrican has arrived to have an audience with you. Dressed in the usual pink of Eldricans, he bows his head in respect.

"Greetings, Emperor Houlandin. I come with a request from our noble King, Feor, that he hopes is easy for you to fulfill."

"What would that be?"

"King Feor asks that you return the body of late King Hein to Eldrican, so that our peoples can give him the burial he deserves. It is making the noblemen and commoners alike uncomfortable that the man, whom they've served and praised for many years, is now occupying a tomb in a distant land like yours."

A) "I was actually about to send the corpse of my venerable relative back to King Feor! I hope its return will be perceived as a gesture of goodwill between our two prosperous nations."
B) "If I can get something in return, I might part with my granduncle's body, for our side of the family has the same rights to inter his body in our family tombs just like Feor's family has."
C) "Hein was born to Methiantese parents, grew up in Methiant, and returned to Methiant in his ending years. His body will remain here, forever."
