((I had considered a similar plan, using higgins as kinetic kill vehicles, but ended up deciding it was uneconomical.  At best, only 17% of your conscripts will be zealous enough (the ones you roll a 5 convincing), and could very easily miss due to a lack of skill.  It's more cost efficient than mortars, but mortars are cost-inefficient to begin with.

A jeep with grenades, on the other hand, costs the same as an assault rifle with a heap of ammo, and is a much more effective weapon, with the inherent unreliability padded out by sheer number that I can afford.  Plus, it's hilarious.))

Trump will let his jeepswarm continue charging recklessly.  He'll congratulate himself on his genius, having already disabled the enemy's mortars without a single loss to enemy action!

Apparently some of Teflon Don's meme magic has rubbed of on his digital counterpart.

It will work. You need food and water to prevent organics from dropping dead.
No, silly, people without food don't just drop dead, they just ..

uh.

So, that jeep platoon with less than a day's worth of food and water.

Yeah. I think I'll bring more food than just the freebies. I think I'll need that price check on the flamethrowers and explosives.

The idea is to not only bring the extra food and ammo but to make platoon level baggage dumps on top of overall supply dumps...

Rain check on where everything is:

Trump:
3 columns rolling towards the base in the hills.
1 column missing/deserted/on-holiday

Putin:
6 squads marching towards town, pretending to be stealthy, but sticking out in the middle of a field...

Egan:
001/002/003/005
Supporting Trump

101/102
Supporting Trump

004/006
Supporting Putin

103/104
Supporting Putin

Innocentius:
Deploying late to the party: roll off to see what happens.

001/002/003/005/101/102
Proceed as planned.
004/006
Sergeants set up HMGs. Grunts keep an eye on the farmer and search the house for useful supplies.
103
Proceed to the farmhouse if the grunts can find some bandages, patch self up.
104
Unjam gun, resume overwatch.

Headquarter instructs Sergeants to set up HMGs. (2+1,6) The coms signals are mostly either too loud or too soft, but the message gets through... to everyone.

Tactics/Coup d'ouil (2+1) The guns are set up at obvious spots in the house: at windows and on a balcony, where they can provide wide overwatching fire of the surrounding fields. They are easily observed though.

Improvised medicine: (4) Clone 103 ransacks the house for clothes and towels and puts together an adequate field dressing for himself. He is now "not bleeding".

Weapon operation: (5) Clone 104 fixes his weapon malfunction in perfect order, and even gets the jammed round back!

Jeep swarm, ATTACK!

Self-Congratulatory remarks: (3+1) "I like thinking big. If you're going to be thinking anything, you gotta think big. And that's what I did. Think big and win. We're going to win. I know this. I've always aimed high and look at where that got me. I am successful. I'm a big thinker. We're smarter. We've got the most optimized army in the world. And that is what's gonna win."

I know what you're thinking, and it can be done if you can find a way to pilot the suicide ships. Robotics must be developed from scratch, every detail matters.
(Money, religious zeal, and a charismatic leader.)

How's this?
Spoiler: Character Sheet (click to show/hide)

We're coming to reinforce you: (1)
The men were all at prayer when the call to get to the dropships went out. Orders were ignored while the men communed with god.

Load the higgins: (4 supply clerks, 6 squads... 6+1) The dropships are prepped, but their intended occupants are still at prayer. Also, the supply clerks suspect that there may be stowaways shipping down in the cargo boxes... perhaps they are migrants seeking new homes and lives on a new world... or something.

Special: Pay 30,000 total to families of kamikazes.
(2+0) MONEY!? You think we wage sacred war for mere lucre!? Your attempts to compensate the suicide pilots have resulted in cognitive dissonance - there is now a conflict that weakens their religious conditioning and your moral authority.

Enemy organization and zeal: 6, 2

Snipers move along the city perimeter and take aim at the big Putin men sticking out in the open.
The soldiers in the stronghold are hastily constructing barricades from anything they can find.

There was supposed to be a rallying call for the rebels by the local religious leaders... But they seem to have lost their nerve after watching military hardware land all day long.

10 sharpshooters fire on the russians, scoring 3 hits, 1 overshot and 2 crit fails.
(6) the crit failed weapons break.
(6) The overshot is lined up perfectly and passes through (5,5,4,6,6,5,2) 6 of putin's men before it is finally deflected.

9 wounds total:

Putin's first squad tries to tank the casualties: (5+3 vs 4+3) (2,2,6,3)+3 vs (6,1,2,4)+1, (5+3 vs 6+5)
Everyone goes down except the guy with the shield and one of the clone sergeants.

3 more wounds go to the second squad (2,1,3)+3 vs(6,5,5) but only 1 conscript becomes a casualty.

1 of the clones roll a 1 for instadeath.

Putin's remaining men ask themselves, what would Putin do?
Operational Vigor: (6+0)
Character: (6+0)

They charge.

Meanwhile in the farm:
The farmer rolls for bravery: (3)
And then for sanity: (1)

He's not brave enough to try anything, but vehemently swears that his god will avenge his family, and that all you heathens will get what's coming to you.

The commando teams 103 and 104 attempt to spot the enemy snipers from 500 metres away concealed in buildings, calling upon their leader's Coup D'ouil... (1)

"Hey I can see someone's wife through this scope!" ... ... ...

(5-2) You heavy machine gun teams think they see muzzle flashes though.

(6) They spray the houses in the distance where they think the muzzle flashes were originating from.

"Oh my god you monsters, she was just about to step into the shower!"

Trump and Egan Squad coordination: (2)

The jeeps leave the footsoldiers behind and roll on ahead.

(5) They advance another 2 km up the road. They have 2km left to cross to reach the stronghold... Almost there....

Egansquads walking:
(2)
Being demoralized at the trump-jeep-jocks leaving them behind, they give up and turn their attention to a nearby village where at least there might be plunder.

Turn 2 summary:

Putin's squads are being cut down like wheat in a field as they advance not-stealthily.

Being angered at taking casualties, they charge.

Commando 103 and 104 tried to provide counter-sniping... but got distracted by high-powered scope porn...

Squads 004 and 006 turned the show into snuff.

Trump's Jeeps could have picked up the foot soldiers, but they wanted all the glory to themselves.

So the foot soldiers are tantruming.

Reinforcements from innocentius failed to deploy. They were too busy praying.

The enemy at the stronghold is preparing to receive a jeep charge.

The enemy in town has started skirmishing in a valiant attempt to uh, distract your forces.

The religious riots have failed after the imans lost their nerve.

001/002/003/005/101/102
How about no. Proceed as planned or court martial.
004/006
If we see their muzzle flashes, they sure as hell see ours. Either make sure they're dead or relocate.
103/104
Stay focused, meatbags. Or else.

"Comrades are lost everyday as long as we allow these fellow threat to exist, slaughter them all. Glory to Russia.

Remaining Assault Squad, the shield dude and the clone sergeant, still keep continuing advance; attack any threats that come into sight
Support Squad 1; retreat back, begin medical stabilization.
Support Squads 3-4; provide suppressing fire with SAWs and Anti-Material Rifles.
Mortar Team; start mortaring the general location where the sniper nest are, blow their building to bits!

ALSO MEN, FORGET ALL STEALTH TACTICS, only Directed Assault!

Purchase another 3000kg of food and 6000kg of water ($36k).

Loudly play the most preachy Christian music I have throughout my dropships in an attempt to get the stowaways to reveal themselves.

Join my troops for prayer time, and lead a prayer separately. When it's over, take the suicide pilots aside to relieve their worries - The money is not a bribe, but a compensation to their friends and family for their service to God.
