Well, for soldiers, you have parachutes...your salamanders are possibly air-droppable without modification to the vehicle itself but you don't have any kind of appropriate parachute.

Alternatively, we could revise better parachutes.  More heavily armed paratroopers, actual armor from the skies...

UF-ATC-41

Inspired by the Bumblebee, this series of targetting calculators can be applied to any artillery cannon currently in Forenian Employ. Intention is to make these a design doctrine, allowing them to be easily applied to all applicable situations.

Right on the national effort/very expensive boundary. Good thing it uses wood.

I'm in for this.

I thought the goal was to get our Overcompensators working with radar?

We're gonna need bigger and better RADAR systems for that.

You already made the proposal for that, so I decided to think up an alternative.

Our shitty, manually aimed Overcompensators kept half their fleet at bay last turn. With a proper targeting system, and underground generators, we'll keep those Cannalans off our shores for a while longer.

We'd either want a larger parachute or the targeting computer: We'd need a better radar system for it's data to be viable and we then need something to process said data into an effective firing solution.

Cotton Candy
A codename for chaff shells. These timed-detonation shells explode into clouds of radar-opaque material large enough for a radar blip. This allows 300mm-gun and radar operators to coordinate their coordinates by firing at specific locations and recieving corresponding radar signals from those locations. These can also act as radar tracer rounds if we can hook up a bumblebee to a radar post during bad visibility...

The Deadlier Ray should be good enough for basic gunlaying. And the Long Shot includes the targeting computer required.

Military Parachutes
A logical upgrade from our ten year old design, this is actually a trio of parachutes tailored to purpose. The first is a large rectangular parachute for an infantryman along with all his standard kit. It comes with a configuration of control panels and harnesses,  such that the user can steer the parachute as it falls,  avoiding hazards and allowing for faster regrouping on the ground. The second is a cargo parachute, designed to be attached to specially manufactured drop crates for larger gear,  such as sets of Tiger armor, heavy squad weapons and the like. The final design is for attaching to vehicles such as the Salamander,  the Tiger truck,  or a bundle of  motorcycles.

If we're gonna design a plane large enough to drop Salamanders,  we should ensure it actually can.

While I would've liked to add alternatives in the form of an armoured thunderbird or a ground-attack thunderbird variant, I wouldn't have voted for them anyway. Obvious choice is obvious.

Very Hard: 6
Also, remember when I said I believe the plane to be too ambitious? Whew.

Again, we still need something to process the data the RADAR system gathers.

Just a minor nitpick: the RTS should state that it uses the Deadlier Ray, not the Death Ray. And for future note, the Overcompensator can fire its rocket-propelled shells to 'almost 30km' while the Deadlier Ray can detect ships to 'about 30km'. It's not an issue, but it could be if we improve the range of our shells or make a bigger gun.
