He has a point...if we get ship-detection in our radar, we will completely own the ocean this turn.

As much as I want to get ERA working, this could be a rare opportunity to use the seasons fog to our advantage...

Radar will let us take the seas and push them back in the plains.

ERA will help us take the jungle and help in the plains.

...I'm torn.

Yeah, that too, as I mentioned earlier. Hunter/killers in the fog, planes in the air, we'll basically win everything. Also, early warning in case of invasions.

I like the sound of radar work, and we should try to crack that out next turn. But the Jungle, for multiple reasons, is our most important front, and we've been bleeding land again and again and again because we've been relying on the cyclical extreme power of our air to get us past -- this keeps the Cannalans from pushing us out of the jungle, but if we continue to completely fail to address the ground game, we're never going to actually TAKE the jungle because our air superiority can get mitigated from time to time. Now, I've been one of the proponents of going hard on air here, but we've put off addressing our armor in any capacity for way too long, and we need to actually get a permanent asset down there so that we can take the Jungle.

Hmmm...yeah, powder has a point.  As great as it would be to take advantage of the fog this turn, our navy doesnt help in the jungle.

I am still very sceptical about the possibility of getting a working ERA from a mere revision.

Me as well. Seeing the design difficulty part in OP, it seems we require a 3 to make it easier to pull off. And we rolled a 2 last time, so we should not expect it to be any easier.

Lot of discussion going into this on Discord.

Most people against radar are against it because "We're not helping the ground war".

Well, we just built a plane to help. But this plane needs help, in that it needs time to get off the ground and reach fighting altitude. It NEEDS a radar range revision or we'll be losing them in droves on the ground. So, go for the radar revision, which accounts for the range AND has the wishlist of "Can detect ships too" which might kick their navy down a few notches.

Since all we are doing is making is so it doesn't kill us when it goes of that should be fairly easy.

I'll definitely vote for the Tauchpanzer next turn, but for this one, I'd like to see the Blood Eagle finished.

Well, if we're going to do radar, now's the time to do it.  The fog makes this perhaps the most critical opportunity to roll out long-range ship-detecting radar.
