"I am not much for the smell of smoke. As for being a healer and a maid, I am not someone who does either for a living, though learning to heal in my world was necessary."

Shit. Guess I'm gonna be outside a lot.
Kenta shrugs and puts away the pipe.
"Oh? So what do you do for a living?"

"I am what might be called a seer."

Kenta nods, looking slightly confused.
"What kind? Like, divinely inspired, or do you just see things on your own power... or do you like just scry things? Or are you just the type that takes down orders from gods?"

"My abilities allow me to perceive much, both far and close. It is my purpose here; I assist your efforts by providing analysis of the battlefield from afar."

"Ah. So do we get like, walkie talkies? Or headsets? Some kind of magic mindmeld? Or do you relay information by just yelling really loud?"
Kenta smiles at his own joke, apparently thinking it's really funny.

Ophelia either doesn't get his joke or doesn't find it very funny.
"Telepathy."

Kenta is a little disappointed, in fact his exact thoughts were "maybe I should just poison myself", but nodded anyways.
"Ah, useful. Best way to communicate really. Kind of like when I knew this chick named Satori, who was one as a matter of fact. Didn't even have to ask her anything, just told me they weren't there and I left."

A man with tanned skin, short blonde hair, and frankly something of a slouch walks into the room with Kenta and Ophelia, rubbing sleep out of his brown eyes, the red ablative armor plates sitting atop his white fatigues actually not rattling at all in the process, and the unusually short but futuristic-looking sniper rifle across his back swaying with the motion. He speaks with a voice that is rather relaxed and unhurried, as he looks at the ninja.
"Alright, I've gone and had more than enough rest. So, I never actually stopped to try and meet any of the new people, I guess. Who're you?"

Kenta, who is dressed like a ninja, turns to look at the man. He stares almost lustfully at the other man's... weapon. After a moment he clears his throat.
"I'm Kenta Iga."

Florida shoots Kenta a slightly warning (albeit confused) look, patting his sniper rifle protectively, but seems to get over it pretty quickly.
"Well, I'm Master Sergeant Connor Wheeler, but my teammates can just call me Florida. I'm a sniper and all, and my old trusty laser sniper here fires laser beams (uh, do they have those where you're from?) with deadly precision."

Kenta's gaze only gets more excited.
"Nice. I'm a ninja obviously... so... you willing to share that thing?"

Nobunaga shook his head. "I appreciate your concern, but my 'accomplishments,' such as they are, are best forgotten." He let the phrase hang in the air, falling silent and gazing into his tea.

Annabelle shrugged.
"If you say so. I'm not one to judge, honestly, but I highly doubt they're that bad, if you're playing on the so-called 'Heroes' team."
She smirked.

"I've changed. Or, at least, I am doing my best to. At very least, the effort was enough for Harmony, but I would rather forget my past entirely."

Florida's left eyebrow quirks coolly.
"Uh, yeah, no way. This has been my personal gun through a lot of shit and I'm not just about to hand her out."
