6-3 vs 1+3, near miss of himself.
but thats not the worst
1-3= -2 vs 6+3=9
what do you think happens on a -2 vs 9?

It is encrusted with sharkmist and HMRC. On the item is an image of HMRC and Pancaek. Pancaek is laughing. The HMRC is melting. The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

TURN 6




Landing Craft 1

With the last two soldiers finally stepping off the boat, there are no more reinforcements left in LC1.

Arrive, get to cover, suppress one of the MG nests

[6] Pvt. McManus runs off the boat and into the nearest cover. He gets most of the way up the beach, in fact. So far up, that he's taking cover in the crater of an exploded mine. He is surrounded on all sides with more mines. [3+2=5] He fires up, into the roof of the nest, suppressing anyone brave enough to venture forward.

I was always apart of the Landing Craft 1, its time to mow down some fellow nazi machine gunners their just getting on the nerves at this point

 [2] On arriving, Pvt. Douglas steps off the boat to machinegun fire, it automatically routes him to cover, hits him in the left arm, and suppresses him. [4-2-1-1=0] Douglas fires and hits the concrete bunker at just such an angle that the bullet ricochets back into Pvt Douglas’s head, killing him instantly.

Landing Craft 2

Take cover and reload.

Pvt. Siegfried reloads his bazooka, behind his cover. [4] The sniper doesn't fire at Siegfried. [6] The gunners come back, but manage to mess up the gun and have to fix it.

Landing Craft 4

Pvt Wonderland - sprint to the safety of the cliffs, below where the gun depression of the enemy so they can't shoot him anymore.

[4] The new boat lands just fine and the door opens to a distinct lack of machinegun rounds tearing through his flesh. Pvt. Wonderland makes his charge up the beach towards the cliffs, it'll take a minute or two.

[4] Using this grace period to think about a good place to hide from the guns, Pvt. Frank decides on an old artillery crater.

1st Airborne Division

If the Nazis had line of sight on us, then we had line of sight on them. Radio in their position. Once again, don't radio in my position.

And yes, continue hunkering down to avoid getting shot, and use my quick reflexes to assist that.

[1-2=-1] “Uh… That's a Go on fire support. ETI 24 seconds on gridspace Alpha 273, Tango 019.” That is once again Pvt. Grey's own gridspace, luckily he has time to move out of the explosion’s range. Sadly, there is a sniper pinning his group down and a nearby group of Nazis that could probably kill them all. Hunkering down is the only option that remains for now. [2+2=4] The sniper misses his Target and cannot seem to hit Pvt. Grey or his group. The sounds of the other Nazis die away.

Lt. Lucy

LT:Save the now wounded civilians.

For the LT: rush the Nazis with your combat knife, I want to see what happens.

LT: Attempt to shoot self.

   Lt. Lucy is awestruck at the actions of the Nazis, he decides the civilians are more important in this moment than the Nazis. [6-2=4] He patches up the wounds of the civilians while the flak continues to explode overhead. ”Just like Independence Day.” He drags the wounded to safety behind his sand fortress. ”Stay right here.” Lucy says in what sounds like absolute gibberish to him. The civies nod and hunker down.
   [6-2=4] The brave Lt. then puts his pistols away and takes out his knife and rushes the flak emplacements. He jumps around the corner of his fortress to see the flak emplacements still shooting that old corner. But he is safe, because he is now in town. He runs in and stabs the main gunner of first of the two emplacements. This attracts the attention of the loader who shouts in that same gibberish, but with a perceived German accent, “Die svine, DIE!” He fires an MP40 at Lucy [4+3=7][1] missing Lucy completely and instead killing the main gunner of the second emplacement. His gun then malfunctions and backfires, bending the metal of the receiver outwards, so it can no longer be used.
   Seeing this Carnage, Licy is overcome by a sudden suicidal sadness. He pulls his pistol and puts it in his mouth. [1-3=-2] He pulls the trigger, but the round doesn't go off, he takes it out and as soon as the muzzle is turned past his head for the breech check, it fires and hits a potato masher grenade [5+3=8] that was just leaving the loader’s (of the second emplacement) hand. It instantly goes off killing that Nazi and disabling the gun.

We are, only thing is that I was waiting for Shadowclaw, lenglon and Poohbah. But, I got word from Poohbah that he is unable to continue for now, so he's out, so I'm only waiting on the other two. If, by tomorrow, they haven't posted, then I'll do turn for you three.

TURN 7




Landing Craft 1

Move up

[6] Stepping out of the crater, Pvt. McManus steps on a landmine covered by a half inch steel plate. The resulting explosion rockets him off the ground and forty feet in the air. The G-shock of accelerating that quickly breaks his left leg. The plate slows his fall and gives him a good slide on the other side of the sea wall, so he survives. However, he now has no cover between himself and the guns above him. Besides the cliff, that is.

Landing Craft 2

Blow up the sniper.

Having reloaded, Pvt. Siegfried aims up and [2] fires another dud. Not that it didn’t hit the intended target, but it didn’t explode. [3] The sniper shoots and only barely misses, pinning down the unlucky bavarian. [5] The gunners up in the nest (Now to be referred to as Nest 2) fix their gun and begin firing almost immediately. [2] The new stream of bullets comes in and smacks the cover, not only suppressing him, but hitting him in the right foot. That is gonna prove problematic.

Landing Craft 4


[4] Running through the minefield, Pvt. Wonderland makes it without limb rending issues to the sea wall. Here there’s a fifteen meter stretch of upraised land with three layers of barbed wire. The artillery won’t hit this area, for fear of destroying the thin wire holding the Americans back. It provides relatively good cover from machine gun fire as well.


((Due to RL being difficult, Poohbah is unable to post and probably won’t be able to for the next week or so. I’m going to skip him until he comes back.))

Landing Craft 5


[3] The landing could have been smoother, but Pvt. Dukes and his company arrive to see the beach in full on chaos. The gunners in Nest 1 take notice and fire at the craft, causing light losses. [4] Pvt. Dukes runs out to cover and dodges the death and destruction.

1st Airborne Division

We're just going to wait, hunkered down, waiting for reinforcements. Use my quick reflexes to not get shot.

[5][3] The sniper shoots and misses, this being his fifth shot and a Gewehr 98 needing to be reloaded after those five shots, he reloads, giving a small opportunity to the men of the Airborne to get their acts together and charge up out of the immediate area of imminent bombardment. The sniper is unable to shoot them as they charge into the nearby cover of a low stone wall. That said, Pvt. Grey remains where he’s at in the hopes of not dying horribly to a sniper. [5][6] The sniper focuses, not on the six or seven men at the low stone wall, but the lone man in the defilade. His reload complete, he shoots at Pvt. Grey [3+2=5] missing by a good fair distance. He fails to notice the guy carrying an M3 Grease Gun aiming right at him and [5][4] gets hit in left arm with a 9mm bullet.

Lt. Lucy

LT:Use Kung Fu on the Nazis.

LT: Use Kung Fu magic on the Nazis.

LT: try to befriend some of the Nazis. Failing that, kill them

   [4-2=2] Lt. Lucy tries for some sweet Kung Fu moves, but lacks the discipline to use them. The Nazi next to him looks confused as this American tries his best to imitate martial artists. That same Nazi decides to knock Lucy out, [3-3=0] failing and falling off the gun and breaking his arm.
   Lucy jumps down and attempts some Kung Fu magic. [2169] For reasons beyond his comprehension, his clothes (Except underwear) turn invisible for one second and then return to normal. The Nazi looks just as perplexed as Lucy as this effect happens. [2-2=0] Lucy then once again tries to kill the man with Kung Fu, but fails again and instead does Yoga.
   Seeing as how he can’t kill this man, he decides to talk to the Nazi, make him a friend and not a foe. "Hey, wanna be friends?"[6-2=4] In that gibberish from before. It definitely isn’t German. "Uh. Vhy? Aren’t you supposed to be killing me?"
   "I mean, I guess. But, wouldn’t it be more fun if I didn’t?"
   "Zha. I-I guess so."
   "Great! I’m Lt. Lewis Lucielle, but you can call me Lucy, Lucky, or Lucifer What’s your name?"
   "Cpl. Jürgen Schmidt."
   "Wanna come with me?"
   "Uh… Sure?"

   Cpl. Jürgen has joined the party.

Pvt Wonderland: exploit the protection of the sea wall and steady my weapon upon it, but wait to pick my target at first. look to see what individuals are causing the most problems for my allies and steady my aim on my target, preparing to fire and making sure when I do take my shot I won't miss.

LT: go regroup with the rest of the invasion force back on the beach.
