Previous -- NextWelcome, Rautherdir! I'll add you to the waitlist in a bit. First, we have two people using different shades of "
blue"; I was forced to make one look pretty close to
teal in order to be clear. The third person who attempted blue was assigned punitive orange in response. Please take a look at the colors in this update's map (plus note that
Larry will be purple upon his triumphant return) and consider a color more distinctive.
Onward.
Helmacon and John begin a careful exploration of the areas to the west. Lootington does exactly the same thing but with less caution and more vocalization. With two lanterns at the ready, it becomes clear that the southwest contains the rest of the hematite vein spotted earlier as well as a deposit glinting in the far distance that is probably coal. Lootington, though, uncovers a long passage into the striped shale, long enough that the lantern can't illuminate the far end.
Frank, after negotiation, manages to attain necessary bandages from Overseer and then Dustan sets to dealing with what exposed wounds are at hand. Or arm. Or shoulder. Or face.Dustan's results table as before
Dustan's roll: 2, Succeed!
Healing roll (1d6+1): 5+1 = 6!
Frank, HP: 7/12
It's not perfect, but there's still something to be said for cleaning and covering burns before ill-defined cave goo gets into them. One can hope that real rest is coming up.GM time. For those who recently joined us: if you go down "a long passage," you will travel a great distance and enter another area. It will take you a third of a day. That is, it is currently "Day 4, Morning"; travel will take you into "Day 4, Afternoon." You only have to camp, sleep, and consume your food and water once you are done with "Day 4, Evening."
Sir Lootington: You said you wanted to keep running. If you go ahead of the team down this passage, you'll have a long and lonely walk, but you'll get first dibs (and first risk) from whatever is in the next area. I just need confirmation from other people that they're following at all . . .
