Yeah, video of a woman who was shot and taken out by EMTs in a stretcher by MSNBC, Fox is reporting that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy overheard radio of capital police say "Shots fired". Congress appears to be secured in undisclosed locations. NY Times reporter with quote from Mitt Romney (who as you may know was harassed on a flight to DC).

Fox news reports no further details on the shooting victim beyond that they were taken out of the building about 30 minutes ago.

Holy shit all this is going by fast. I figured there was some chance of there being a boog but I'd assumed it would've boiled up following election day, since most people don't really pay attention to how election day is pretty much the least important step of the process. I guess the sheer amount of last-minute fuckery helped remind people of the extra steps in the process.

For added !!FUN!! this is almost certainly going to be a catch-22 situation. Police are evidently definitely easy on them relative to the response the BLM DC protests received, which is only going to embolden them. But if they dealt with them as they likely should, that just makes martyrs out of them.

At this point it's no longer hyperbole to describe this as "literally terrorism" is it?
