And yet, the opposing side to those "leftists" still believe they support child molestation. Literally.

There's a serious, serious problem with American politics which largely boils down to the fact that people in America can't accept that people who disagree with them politically aren't fundamentally evil, like fucking Sauron. The Left thinks the Right is trying to genocide non-whites and gays, the Right thinks the Left is trying to murder children and supports literal kiddy diddling, and the more the two scream at each other the more right each side becomes because people shy away from the screaming lunatics on the other side, right into the arms of the screaming lunatics on their side.
It's like some game theory prisoner's dilemma, where both sides profit if their lunatics calm down and cooperate with one another, the lunatics both profit if they don't cooperate and remain belligerent, while if one lunatic cooperated while the other remained belligerent that side's lunatics would lose
Look man, I just want at least 4 parties. Put to rest all this party before country bullshit, make it so there are groups for the moderates to back, a small party for the neo-nazis to live in, and a socialist/communist party that I can vote for.

Actually, we'd probably need up to 6 to properly cover the ideological spectrum if we're going to do European/Parliamentary style parties. And that's including the Libertarian and Green parties which have a following big enough to become a major party if the Republicans and Democrats would just let them.

Most of the time I would have just been engaging in hyperbole to be an ass, but Trump is apparently fine with neonazis, blatantly courts ordinary "we're not willing to throw sig heils, but we don't like brown people" racists, is known for his own creepy actions in the past with teenage girls, though weirdly he was one of the few to not go all in with Moore, and openly admires strongman types around the world.

We've reached the point where the idea of a rubberstamp in office is sufficient for republicans to put up with, well... anything.

It could come out that Trump liked to piss on crying 12 year old sex slaves overseas and I would expect it to be normalized by Fox pundits within a week.

Just ran the maintenance, and...  maybe the links will now work?  I had it pop my last post in the right spot, anyway, and posts appear on different pages.

Ahh, the ol' "turning it off and on again" trick!

You know what? I'm actually going to do that. I've always wanted to, but for most of my time here I've not been in a situation where I could. And hey, Toady deserves it.

I'm tighter than a particularly mean duck's arse, but I really should donate as well.  I don't know how many hours DF has given me, and how many it will give in the future, but he definitely deserves my Triple A money.

I kick Toady $100 or so every couple of years when I can afford to, usually when I put a few weeks in to the latest release.

I wish I could. I've kicked a few bucks his way in the past, but right now I'm at a point where I don't have enough bucks to kick at my bills, much less anyone else.  :-\

EDIT: So...do we want to do a live chatroom somewhere tomorrow evening, as we did in 2016? (preferably minus the weapons-grade profanity and flaming that resulted once it became clear that we were in for four years of Trumpalooza)

I feel you.

I'm hoping that, with my American tax return while making <15k/year (Which is TOTALLY LARGER thanks to the YUGE tax reform) will help with that. I'd like to be able to help monetarily.
