Put one into bartering, and one into carpentry.

Buy a shovel, and some plump helmet mushroom seeds. Dig out an underground farm. If necessary, sell your lumber to pay for it.
After that, chop as any trees as you can. See if you can organize the people of the town to build a defensive barricade. In your plump helmet mushroom farming area, drag the bodies. Strip them, and bury everything on them, to process later. Bury the bodies under the farming area, for extra fertility.

Oh, and reset the trap while we're at it.

My bad, I was a bit unclear I guess when I said what you could use skills on. You can only invest points in known skills, as in skills you for sure know exist which at the moments is only Axe Use, because its the only skill you guys have seen so far :v

Spend one point on Axe Use and one point on Shield Use and hope that the G.M. doesn't get angry about metaknowledge from other class options... Also remember that Farmers get Farming skill and Hunters get Archery, those could be useful later...

Carve a naked bust of a hermaphrodite on the falling log trap facing the door, and reset the trap.

Darn, I thought by "known skills" you might have meant mundane skills, as in things a peasant might know existed (I.E. no magic). Oh well

Put one point into axe usage and save the other one

EAT THE CORPSES
Genuine +1.

-1, this kind of behavior is the reason we're fighting Adventurers! We shouldn't stoop to their level!

We should, however, wear a necklace with one ear from every Adventurer we've slain!
