Too much drama for my blood. I'm getting flashbacks to when I had what felt like the entirety of France killing all my serfs due to a... *ahem* misunderstanding where I killed a minor lordling because his holdings were blocking my expansion and he was never online to communicate with.
I remember that.   :D

Drama seems inevitable in this game.  One does not simply walk into LoL and fiddle with a domain all by one's self.

That's why I'd suggest joining up with me on Samotras. There will still be drama, but you'll have a support structure around you to deal with things. Like thugs.

Also having an encyclopedia of knowledge and experience available on tap all the time can be really invaluable. The game has changed a lot, but a lot of the old things still apply too, I find.

Here's a rough map of where the major factions have pretty much decided to settle in. It is a little outdated by a few days, but o/

I'm in the Archeotype area with the same group of people I played with before, pretty much. A lot of the old faces showed up to restart, and it feels like we are getting off to a great start.

Wait... So the clique that is harassing me is that of the island of Negos in the previous map? Curiously enough, I was part of the Negos project when the previous map was released... At that time it was a Spanish-speaking group, but now it seems they are mostly Russian.

I wouldn't automatically assume they are Negos. These were drawn from the stated plans of the respective leaders and their groups where they wanted to go. It's entirely possible the group bothering you is a completely unrelated Slav group, who want the island themselves. Grimwald is on Septa though, so imagine a lot of Negos people are going there too.

Aw man wanted to get back into the game but it refuses to believe i'm not using a VPN, which i'm not. My ISP probably has some protection in place but that would be a shame because it's the only decent one in Sweden. Anyone else had a problem like that? Do I need to create an account to contact support for Lands of lords? Because I can't x)

Yeah, the game has hyperactive anti-VPN stuff with a zero-tolerance policy for any reason. Multi accounts kinda ruined earlier versions of the game, so now anything that is detected to be behaving like one is axed. Might have luck contacting admin directly... but probably not.  :-[

if you are joining LoL, there is a TON of really great people that play. I deleted my other account because of real life stuff, but joined again cause LoL is only game that gives me peace and wanted to join back the group but dont think they needed to deal with real life problems I was having so I joined someone else.

pretty much everyone in the game is great. Still love LoL even though I deleted my account only to come back not that long after...

I think I'm interested in doing a project like this. I would like to do something like land of lords and haven and hearth. Both games are almost what I want but they are both missing the mark.

Anyone still playing this? It's been a few years for me, but recently started again. Disappointed to find admin has continued his habit of restricting features in an attempt to force players to fit his vision. Seems so backwards that going from village to lordship will hamstring my economy

Recent feature is "perpetual reset cycle". Continents now only stick around for 500 days, with continents in a perpetual spawn and despawn cycle (with about 5 continents stretched to fill out that 500 days).

I for one quit.

I must say, you've got to admire someone who takes an idea for a game, makes it, sees a community form around it and embrace it... then systematically crushes everything that the userbase enjoys about the game.

I mean, I assume there must still be people who are enjoying themselves out there, but every single time I've heard about changes in this game, it's been for the worse (LuuBluum's just another to add to the pile).
