Oops! My wording. The -2 Food was to working up my Unskilled to Skilled, at the University. :P
I added a "shove them into Temp. Housing" because that's where they go anyway since the Production turn got them upgraded as I assume.

Oops! My wording. The -2 Food was to working up my Unskilled to Skilled, at the University. :P
I added a "shove them into Temp. Housing" because that's where they go anyway since the Production turn got them upgraded as I assume.

It is optional to move them, but yes, once populations have been changed (via University or the military buildings) they can be moved to the appropriate housing stores.

Production: +1 wealth, +2 food, -1 food, +1 basic raw
Organization: Move unskilled from colonial centre to temp housing, move expert to colonial centre. Move unskilled to basic factory

Total: -1 wealth, +1 food, - 1 machinery , - 1 b.goods, +1 b.raw.

Yes, the card is gained during the Organization step. Cards that can be played during Organization, or Any Time, may be played the turn you get them. All others have to wait until their phase shows up again.

I'm debating making the card you got automatic. Not sure if there is any reason to ever hold on to it?
