The year is 1917. The Great War rages on in Europe. The Western Front is in east France, along with those iconic trenches. You, whoever you are, are stuck in that muddy hellhole. For some, it's a new and horrifying experience, but in those who have been here a while, it's just another day in hell.

Alright, so I wanted to make a class-based, Grunts-like game in the setting of WW1 for a while now. I know that I'm ignoring the other fronts, including the less famous, but equally important, Gallipoli.

There will be a fair amount of dying, missing your shots, and accidental TK, but don't worry. Just like in Grunts you can make a new soldier immediately, but depending on how far the push has gone, it may be a turn or two before you get there.

You will be French, British, Canadian, or American. Sorry for the lack of Italians, Russians, Ottomans, Australians, Germans, Austrians, etc., but I plan on opening up some of the other fronts later on, for now, I want a good old trench fight.

That aside here's the game, enjoy.

Not sure if you forgot to list types of pistols or if it's just generic.

Fixed the weapons and classes a bit and added pistols and special abilities on certain weapons.

Yeah. It's just that you shouldn't get too attached to any character. Otherwise, you're completely fine here. Also, don't be discouraged if games you're in die. Happens all the time.

Alright but would some kind of grenadier be okay? If not I'll just play a Heavy MG

I was thinking about something like that, but I had second thoughts about it. I'll work on it before I get first turn posted. Check the OP in the morning. If you don't like what you see, give me a suggestion over PM and I'll work with you on it.

You know considering the fact that this is frontline combat and we're not expected to survive how about I just make a character and try that grenadier later.

Everything look alright?
Edit:
Wait would a Lewis Gun be classified as an HMG?
