Ahhhhhh. Aright, that makes sense. Cool. Thanks.

Edit: Also about the game being dead, maybe that was a level dependent thing, because now I'm playing more and although the wait timers are a big longer I'm getting 10 dudes in a match. Perhaps they match you against ai when you're low level?

Yeah, the main UI is kinda clunky. In other similar games you can go straight to a unit's upgrade page on its card, and even see how much experience it has. Not in this game though. Also they way the game has to restart itself every time it switches between the game and the main UI...

AI have proper names.  JamesFrank is an AI.  NihgtASSassin666 is a player.

Yeah the rewards you get are heavily dependent on if your team wins the match or not, the grind is a lot better if you're on a winning streak while abysmally long if you get an unlucky string of bad team mates.

EXP gain is based on how much score you earn. So if you lose and have a lot of score (you did good but teammates didn't) you can still get a good bit of exp. This is especially obvious in siege mode where even the losing team can have players with 20-30k score.

If you went Wu Infantry you'll notice you'll top the score charts if you know how to use them right since they get obscene kill counts right now. I was earning 3-4k exp per match even on a loss as long as I didn't get ganged up 3-5 vs 1 and have my men killed before they got their hits in.

If you're looking for someone to play with, then me, Facekillz, and Noobishgamer can all be found in The Bay 12 Discord and we play. Nobody's got around to making a legion yet though, as it costs premium currency.

BRAVE ROMANS, TO A MAN!

Wait, Romans are not in the game, are they?

I've only just unlocked T3, but I see they took seal clubbing to next level - no shields or using bash weapons under T3 because of lack of metal vs possibility to take downgraded higher tier equipment into those battles. Most favorite weapon so far? That huge ass trunks T2 Wu Wei (my mistake, edited to do not misinform) Infantry use obviously.

The things I don't like the most are 'garage slots' for $ (it looks like they are going exactly for WoT's monetization, let's hope for no premium arrows) and almost complete irrelevance of units, which making conquest the duel mode with something that can only stagger your attacks.
