They're like WoT artillery. At low tier, it's mostly annoying, at high it starts to become the main damage dealer.
Ah, alright, that makes perfect sense. I imagine at higher rankings you got something like cavalry running down archers who shoot infantry who spearwall cavalry or something?
Also now that I'm starting to loose less consistently I'm having a lota fun in this game. Although I'm still afraid to try to duel people most of the time, rather trying to stab them from behind or put a line of infantry between us as we fight.
I did just have a really cool fight, set on that map with all the ravines and bridges. There was a clash in the middle, four of us vs five them them (as one of us had fucked off somewhere as it always goes). Although we were outnumbered I managed to kill two enemy generals near the start of the fight, so it was pretty even. In the end two of their generals retreated (I think they ran into our guy that wasn't there, because at one point one of them died) and one of our generals retreated, leaving me and two generals vs one guy and his intact army. In the end I ended up running away on 9 hp as my two allies went down, but they took the enemy general with them. Leaving three wounded generals just laying on the ground with a group of enemy troops standing around them.
I got back to base and recruited my army back, and by the time I got back to the place one of my allies had committed suicide, but I got the other one up and the enemy general killed himself. I went down to 4 hp beating off his troops from the corpses. But we then won the game, I had to go heal but we had like 3 generals to their 1 at this point. I ended up getting like, over 10,000 points.
