I can't do things with the thread in combat or anything, but they do have effect when worn. My shirt, for example, protects against the cold."

Vijaya shrugs, or at least attempts a gesture resembling a shrug. It looks rather stiff, really. "I'm not very knowledgeable about magic yet. It's much more difficult to learn about it on your own than other subjects."
