Tommy will do some heavy liftin' around the base, since he can't do mich else. You know moving boxes full of stuff, working on this or that, move this pile of rocks from here to there and then back here again.

I'm still working on the armory lists.

Adjusted Tommy's sheet a bit.

Mirella is going to begin working cooking meals for those staying in Nowhere. She might as well be doing something with her time.

Mirella rolls Intelligence + Crafts for 6 dice. She scores a critical failure.
Tonight's dinner will have every food safety violation in it. Along with free salmonella.

Tommy will do some heavy liftin' around the base, since he can't do mich else. You know moving boxes full of stuff, working on this or that, move this pile of rocks from here to there and then back here again.

Tommy does some work as a Bellboy. Rolling Str + Dex for 4 dice. He scores 2 successes.

Mirella and Tommy make 64 dollars each in the workday. Tommy rolls to beg for tips, but all the guests snub him.

Mirella takes a housekeeping job. She talks with the other girls and finds out which rich fuck has the hardest room to clean at the moment. She volunteers to take that room from another girl, hopefully one who looks like her, swapping it for one of hers, without the manager knowing.
If successful Mirella will attempt to steal anything of value (concealably sized) from the room whilst in there.

So she thinks it's a good idea to steal from strange tenants in the middle of nowhere...

Mirella wanders into one of the rooms. The tenant has his possessions neatly packed into a locked trunk. But there is a quilt on the dressing table. There seem to be faces sewn onto its surface...

Can Mirella roll occult to see if she recognises the object as any sort of magic?

You roll intelligence + occult, 3 successes.

The quilt seems to beckon you closer. Are some of those faces screaming?

Mirella is unnerved. She completes her housekeeping work, she understands now why the other workers are scared of this room. She leaves, having kept a good few meters from the quilt at any time. Though reckless, she decides she isn't going to be stupid. She will try the other rooms.

We're still checking for things to pillage from strange people in the middle of nowhere? Ok.

You try another room. You find a cellular phone. The old big and bulky kind, like they made in the 80s. You roll your occult senses. The air seems thick around it.

Mirella's curiosity gets the better of her, she cannot leave well enough alone a second time. She takes the cellphone, backtracks to the room with the quilt, lifts it with a broom handle and hides the cellphone under it, wondering what will happen. If nothing, she will continue about the rest of her day.

Some static comes through and a voice emanates from the phone. "Hello Beautiful"

"Will you bare yourself before me?" *more static*

Mirella gingerly picks it up anyway and tries to feed it to the quilt. But nothing seems to happen.

Mirella takes the phone back, when unfortunately nothing happens. Disappointed, she looks for a silence button? Volume buttons perhaps? She intends to turn off the weird stalkery voice thing

You press the silence button, the aura around the phone changes, you feel that you made it angry.

'Sorry mate, I don't do men. Tell you what, I'll find a pretty lady and leave you in her shower.'

Mirella takes the Cthulu-phone with her to the next room.

Mirella takes the Cthulu-phone with her to the next room.

You find the room of an erudite and delicate woman. "House Keeping!" Mirella chirps cheerfully. You place the phone by the tub and clean up the rest of the room, smiling like a Cheshire cat. The nice woman even tips you 10 bucks.

Mirella will go on to complete her work day knowing that she has made the world a better place.
