Yeah, I just got lucky.

(5) You manage to struggle free of the guards and sprint to a safe distance before tossing a knife at one! (5 + 1 = 6) The throwing knife zips through the air, slitting a guard's throat! It then travels around the group of guards like a boomerang. It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.

1 Tile = 5 meters

-You can Move 20m along the road, but you can't use Stealth on this kind of move.

Houses
-Walking through a door counts as moving 10m instead of 5m, but you can attempt to kick it for free (does not consume your action). If you fail to kick a door you cancel the move.
-Fighting in an enclosed space gives -1 DEX (ranged and melee).
-The house with stairs has a second story, with all windows duplicated.

Nature
-Dashed lines are Shrubberies. You can only move 10m (two tiles) through them but get +1 to Stealth. Moving out into open space suffers no penalty.
-Being fired at through a Shrubbery gives +1 AGI, but being shot out of one does not. This counts as Cover.
-You can swim through water, but it takes two actions and you can't end inside it.

Turn 4B

[15] Nyr pulls the pins on his [4] remaining grenades, brings out his LAW in front, and locks it around Azet's neck. (3DEX+1 Attack vs 2AGI = 1 Bonus) (1STR+1 Bonus vs 3STR = 1 Hit!) It appears that Azet is busy casting a spell, so he is unable to break free...

[10] Azet unleashes a thousand bursts of sunfire, engulfing Nyr in fury! (10 Attacks vs 3AGI = 3 hits, 2 Bonus) He is singed head-to-toe (automatically set on fire) and is unable to dodge the hailstorm headed his way. (1STR+2 Bonus vs 1VIT = [5][4]) Nyr's [1][1] ...hands take the brunt of the impact... those hands... holding the grenade belt...

(Boom: 12 STR vs STR1 and STR2 = Both get annihilated, as you'd expect.)

The grenades go off, captivating the audience in a terrifying burst of flesh, bone, and charred flesh. Their hearts pound with excitement as the dust clears and unveils the resultant crater. The house, surprisingly, survived the explosion; a camera drone uncloaks and wanders into the house, showcasing the fresh red coat of macabre decor lining the interior.

"Now there's what we were looking for! That's a wrap!"

I'm not sure what to say here. Thoughts on the mechanics?

I gotta sleep now. Usually I pick arenas after new characters are in.

Also Failbird's turn is up, so he will be included in the next round.

Proposed Changes:

1) Since I noticed that High DEX/Low STR attacks seemed rather weak (looking at that 10DEX/1STR attack Mallos made in the last round, only scoring 2 Bonus hits...) I am going to make 4's carry over as well into the Defense phase. Scoring 3 hits means you get +3 STR to the next roll.

2) Instead of the current system where crits are extremely rare due to 4's blocking 6's in the Defense phase, but accordingly powerful, I'm making Defense dice blocking the same as Attack dice blocking, except that all Defending dice get +1. So a 5 will block a 6, but not a 4.

With this, crits are roughly twice as common in my simulations, so crit headshots won't be as instakill-y. I'll revise the damage tables to reflect that.

3) Added Flee! action so you can run away from combat
4) Added +5 to initiative for each point of AGI above 1.

Everyone is welcome to join the next round.

Added an Active Defenses table to the front post while working on the map. If anyone wants to suggest wrestling moves, go ahead.

Wunderkatze has told me he will sit out.

I probably will not finish the post today due to RL circumstances.

Sorry, had job interview, built a quadcopter, and hosted a real-life DnD session. Kind of takes its toll. :P
