The miserable woman looks at the cat-eared person with an expression that doesn't exactly radiate trust, but she purses her lips and speaks anyway.
"...I was done. My journey was finished. Why am I being brought back into battle, what did I do to deserve this...?"

"....I wish I knew.

There must be a reason.

It just doesn't seem like...

I'm just a medic!  Not a fighter!  I don't like fighting!  Why are we all here?  Surely a nigh-omnipotent being could have picked those who would willingly join the fight?"

"Likewise." she says, returning the smile. She'd guess that Ryuto is around as old as her based on appearance. He seems almost like he'd be younger though, but that might just be what seems to be a lack of experience.

"So....uh....what did you mean by this being your job?"

"The whole heroics business. Save the world, beat the bad guys, etc.." She says, putting her glasses back on.

Ryuto blinks.
"A.....superhero? Like a comic book superhero?"

"I guess? I mean, from what she said multiverse theory is confirmed so I don't know what comic books are like in your world."

"...if I have to fight to save my world and, apparently, many others... I will. I won't go so far as to refuse. But I was done. I... well, I'm sick of this."

"Well. Real for one. Fight supervillains, keep the peace, etc.. Most have superpowers of some kind, although tech-based heroes aren't odd. Main difference from the comic books that I know of is the Heroic Union, which is sort of an organization that manages superheroes- tells them when there's trouble, provides for them, the like."

Sera smiles. "So, I've talked about myself enough (unless you have another question or two), now what about you?" she asks. At this point she's both curious and she wants to keep him talking to keep his mind off this.
