Actually, I believe imps are genderless, although you can mod them to have them as I've heard of people modding them to breed.

Yeah, I guess it sort of does look like it's flashing him.

I guess that explains the mask of horror on his face.
Dwarves don't really get worked up over booze fires.

might be beatin' a dead horse here, but here's another goblin image.

Certainly a better comparison than the last one.

Hah, those are some pretty cool goblin concepts! They're kind of like ET from the neck down. :P

Have you tried drawing kobolds?

I've stirred up some kind of hornets nest by asking if that goblin was female.

Keep up the good work fault, but you know, from the way you draw goblins, they seem to be smaller than dwarves, which is kind of incorrect since IIRC they are an entire size larger than them.

Like a race of green midgets with saggy boobs.

I take offense to that one

yeah they're over here

since IIRC they are an entire size larger than them.

accordin' to the raw files dwarves and goblins are both size 6 (unless I'm misenterpreting what IIRC means). my Goblins look smaller than dwarves because they have terrible posture.

I think, give the female some more prominent cheekbones and you might be on to something.

(beating dead horses is FUN)

Well, I like your goblins a lot, with the awesome silliness and all (especially the fish engraved on the sword : p ) it's fairly stereotypical, and cool.
I tend to picture them in other ways, as a more tribal-ish society, where they don't really have nice weaponry or armor as they tend to die in large numbers, and any type of quality armor is not going to help much.
so generally I picture them as humanoid creatures around half the size of a human, and kinda like my previous doodles.
I imagine that they just hammer a piece of metal until it's flat enough, and just strap it on their shoulders and chest areas. In the same way with weapons, as they are in large numbers, they tend to just gang up on the victim resulting in a large one-sided clusterfuck. They don't need finely crafted weapons for that ,as a piece of sharpened, flat piece of copper tied to a wooden handle with string would do just as well( also why they don't have large weapons) as with daggers and such can just stab all they like, quickly and efficiently.
/rant.

I'll try to illustrate this at some point I believe(sorry.no crappy  ps painting), with normal pencils and paper, where I am much better at than digital drawings.

I like the look of the female goblin face in that last image. Im having difficulty with the body pick, then again, it might be because you intentionally posed it with a strait back to better show proportions. would love to see one posed properly with poor posture and all that, seeking the blood of some fisherdwarf not paying attention (seemingly my only losses to goblins any more in early forts.)
