part of their aesthetic is that they're supposed to appear rather alien compared to the other civilized races. Trolls are actually very cunning, and have a perceived sense of superiority. Using clothes, armour or items would make them less self-sufficient, and lower them to the level of the "inferior" races. The troll is only supposed to rely on himself, he should not need material possessions to help him survive.

on a side note, I'm thinking of changing his colour scheme to something like white and grey, to make him look less natural and more artificial, to really emphasize the difference between trolls and the more mundane creatures.

No offense taken, my drawing skills are non existent so meh, need to be told there was something wrong before i fix it i guess.

I'd have drawn explosive diaharrea way differently thou, i just don't see it myself. O.o
