So only your character can? And only your character can drive and do taxes and cook and swim and do first aid or read a map or do a customer service job or read upside down or write in cursive or have a high school education or take care of a dog or do basic chores? Your character doesn't have eating or writing in print or using a computer or searching for things as skills, can he not do these?

As long as it makes sense for the character, I imagine anyone could play yugioh or shoot a gun -- these aren't what abilities are meant for, and it's reasonable to assume someone could do that without it being explicitly spelled out and given stats -- to insist otherwise would be to try and hijack their purpose in order to normal roleplay far more difficult.

I didn't give him those abilities to outline that he's capable of doing that stuff (and that by extension others can't), it was just to inform that he isn't much more than a normal guy without outright saying it. I did include some mundane abilities that others may not reasonably have like actual training with guns and knowing how to fight when you don't have a weapon. So should I remove the extraneous abilities and leave only the important ones?

I could say the same thing to someone who seems to have put next to no effort into actually understanding what was going on. If you'd actually paid attention to the ruleset and looked at the characters that Sanure just conveniently mentioned were accepted and going in you would have understood your errors and corrected them before we saw them.

That would be the ability which has both words start in capital letters - Reflex Boost.

So far? Done a bit better at various sports and used it as an excuse to get into Avalon.

Guns, probably. I'm looking at your sheet and she doesn't seem to have any abilities that let her survive a bullet to the head, for example. Many heroes and villains do have abilities that let them survive bullets, so my character will probably end up as E-rank at most, and I'm ok with that. I've never played a ludicrously underpowered character before and just trying to survive will probably be a fun activity on its own.

This game follows logic to an extent, but you don't have to worry about things like surviving a bullet. If you get shot, no biggie, just some HP off. It's not "oh my gosh I better patch up this bleeding wound" or anything.
