Its not just Trump on that front though.  Government and stuff has been working to legally get into that sorta thing for awhile now.  Nor will it end when Trump is no longer president.

Basically what I'm saying is, I don't think the US cyberdefense is particularily poor, compared to the rest of the world. Sure it sucks balls, and is really really bad. But so is cyberdefense in the rest of the world.

President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday refused to take a question from a CNN reporter during his press conference, berating the network for “fake news.”

"Your organization is terrible," Trump told CNN’s Jim Acosta when he tried to ask a question.
