If you weren't on a list before you certainly are now, hehe.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Plan the counter-invasion is certainly a reasonable addition.

This is why we need immortality, so everyone can actually learn all those things.

That's not really all that long of a list. Decent liberal education with a decent summer jobs could pretty easily check all of those things.

I can do most of those, at least in theory, but conning a ship?

I can figure out ways to mass-produce training materials for at least 80% of those.

I do have to wonder how you'd manage to practice dying gallantly more than once, though.

People having to pay that much more just to get around is hardly good news.

well, gas prices are going to start going up soon.

They have been artificially lowering prices and glutting the supply for a while now (well, it's been mostly Saudi Arabia), and it's hurting some OPEC members, so, they can only do it for so long.

Also, I thought OPEC had dissolved or greatly weakened or something when Saudi Arabia went rogue and started glutting the oil supply in an attempt to kill shale oil (American shale oil in particular)?

Anybody know what the heck Sen. Warren means by calling Mnuchin 'the Forrest Gump of the financial crisis'? I wiki'd Forrest Gump (I may have seen the movie, but I don't remember it) and I still don't get it. Might be trying to imply that Mnuchin is a dumb opportunist.

First good news I've heard in a while.

How is that good news?

Well we'll have much more incentive to invest in renewables...
