Goddamnit. Shots fired near (though not in, or at) a LA polling station, at least two victims en-route (or at, by now) the hospital. No word on if it's politically motivated or not, but still something we could do without :-\

How despicable... though for NOW I am just going to assume it is like the Dark Knight shootings where it was more about shooting at a mass congregation of people.

And here's the sad thing. We wouldn't even be talking about this election as an uncertain thing if the Dems had nominated almost anyone else
I'm saying the same thing about Republicans and nominating anyone other than Trump vs Clinton.

My state's ballot only had Clinton, Trump, and Johnson.

Here's one. There's almost certainly more if you feel like looking.

Politico has partial turnout results in two states so far.

http://www.politico.com/2016-election/results/map/president

Ky has less than 1% tabulated, but currently shows strong trump favorability, NH is similar, but the gap is smaller on early trump lead there.

And for those that don't easily ken what <1% means, we're talking the actual tabulated numbers haven't hit four digits in NH, yet. Or three.

Probably good to remember that the bluer areas tend to finish counting later than the red ones, too, for anyone that might be worried. Population densities and whatnot.

On the topic of ballots, my state's ballot had Democrats, Republicans, Libertarian, Green, and Constitutional parties (and write-ins) for the presidential vote.

heh, been busy, but i find it both funny and difficult that the election has followed my predictions so far, and my worst fears for candidate choices are whats on the table.

we get clinton, we get a very hostile russia and an escallating problem in syria. we get trump, we get regressions on epa power, and more corporate buyout of america, with a heaping side of accelerated climate change.

lose lose as far as i am concerned.  we brought this on ourselves though. i just hope we dont take the world down with us.

538 is reporting a shooting at a California voting place.

So what are the odds of Johnson actually getting a few electoral votes from the states, throwing a money wrench in the plans of the other two parties?

Already noted. Is LA, and near it, not really at it. Near as I've noticed from updating stuff it looks, at least, like it's just a fight gone out of hand instead of something political. That said, as per 538 there's one confirmed dead and at least two other gunshot victims.

And basically 0, lich. Mcmuffin has better odds, last I checked.

less than the chance of McMullin winning Utah.

McMullin has chances to get electoral votes. Johnson doesn't.
