Shame on the Republicans though if they were depending on a not-set-in-stone wikileaks release to 'destroy' clinton.

Breitbart's comment section is hilarious this morning. 75% of them are like "Man, fuck this guy."
The remainder are convinced he's just setting up for an even bigger bombshell. "You guys are playing checkers and he's playing chess. And he's got all the Aces." (actual quote)

So there you go...Assange is about to king his Aces and yell Yahtzee.

Nine appear to have been arrested in Alabama, seven are apparently being charged with terrorism, just as an example. Seems like it's happening in other places, too (such as florida, of course). Few schools have been shut/locked down for a day or two.

First I've heard of it, but it seems this has been going on for a good month or two, now.

Yeah, been seeing stuff about it for a month or two. Best hypothesis I've seen is that it's some hare-brained viral marketing stunt ahead of Rob Zombie's new horror movie called 31, about a cabal of murderous clowns. Although, the movie came out on 9/16, so any sightings after that are either copycat or something else.

Apparently the producers of both 31 and the IT remake have denied involvement in the Honkening. Considering the number of reports that now have confirmed arrests I don't think this is an ARG unless someone has managed police cooperation on a scale never seen since The Blair Witch Project or someone is willing to have their actors genuinely assaulted and arrested.

Considering that one of the reports is an actual murder (of the clown), I find this doubtful as well.

Something along those lines, RK. Best guess I've seen is some kind of local thing due to some film project or another that jumped to the next town over and kept going. Not a marketing stunt, just ye old viral meme propagation.
