In case anybody doesn't get the joke, this man isn't a Hillary Clinton strategist by any stretch of the imagination.  He is a washed up third tier political has been who got a "wingnut welfare" position at fox news.  He is best known for managing one of the most incompetent campaigns in US political history.  But Julian Assange is a bought and paid for Russian propogandist who will happily lie to make Hillary Clinton look bad.

Wait, I didn't follow it, but was the Blinken campaign even worse than the Mondale campaign?  I mean, Beckel ran both, but at least Mondale managed to pick up one state. 

I don't know why they're suddenly pushing this again, though.  That clip's apparently from 2010.  There wasn't even a presidential election in 2010.

Now I'm kinda' curious how beckel got pegged as a clinton strategist, giving a probably inappropriately large benefit of doubt that the statement wasn't just boldfaced lying.

He's apparently at CNN now, though, for what it's worth.

Oh, I thought Beckel was, hence my comment on Beckel running both of those.  That was why I made a little joke about you commenting that Beckel is known for running one of the worst campaigns in US political history after quoting Beckel as running Blinken's campaign, instead of mentioning Mondale's for the benefit of our non-US or post-90s users.

But if Alan Blinken ran Mondale's campaign, that...actually, that surprises me quite a bit since I couldn't find any sign of it, but it does undercut my joke.

Sorry, I got confused and then mixed up the names.  Fixed now.  And yeah, I probably should have mentioned the claim to 'fame' and not just the fall from 'grace' in a cloud of scandal.
