Can it be programmed to differentiate targets based on color?

Not to mention that to make it a fair comparison, there'd need to be a European army, for a European state, which is compared to the American army for the American state.

That doesn't exist right now, but I think the various armies would work together (maybe) to defend, say, Estonia.

There is an 'European State' of sorts already, NATO and the EU. Though the EU is more of an economic alliance than a military alliance.

Anyways, as polls are showing and as 538 has just observed, the race seems to be tightening, or maybe it's just becoming a normal competitive race.

Pretty sure that even if the US decided it was going to pretend the Atlantic was the edge of the world, NATO wouldn't stop caring about millitary incursions in its sphere of influence.

At first I thought it was Trump campaigning in DC, literally the most Democrat electoral region of all and projected to go to Clinton by over 60 points.

The other thing was weird too, though.

To be fair though, I don't know how far in advance that DC hotel opening was scheduled for, so, he might not have been able to avoid it.

If it were me (or most anybody else), I'd have sent a top representative instead, but Trump gonna be Trump.

You....you don't need any special predictive ability to know Republicans don't campaign in DC unless they're attending a federal event. Trump would have to win literally every other electoral vote, and then do 20 points better than that, to win DC.

I know that, was just giving a plausible reason why he would be there. Trump could easily have had a top representative, one of his kids even, do the opening, but noooo, Trump absoultely has to be there no matter what and also make it a pseudo campaign event.

Not the first time that Trump has violated typical (or even logical) campaign strategy, heck, he has thrown the book away and incinterated it.

I heard on keeping it 1600 (which is v. good) that 40% of the democratic electorate in iowa caucuses self identify as socialist.  Seems that does check out according to a Seltzer poll done back in January.

Okay, I'd expect that from him, but an indefinite blockade on SCOTUS nominees is just beyond dumb. Like, what if Hillary gets a second term or another Dem pres gets elected? At least four are probably guarantieed to die or retire in the next 8 years. Wheres that thing 538 did on scotus?......
