Anything called curry is awesome. Especially Thai curry.

I once had a curry in an Indian restaurant in Poland. Being used to Indian restaurants in the Netherlands having completely adapted spicyness to Dutch standards, I obliviously ordered a meal with "medium hot" curry.

My tongue and mouth did not stop burning for 2h after I heroically managed to eat about 1/3ds of the meal. Geesh. The first few bites were delicious though.

The trick is to keep eating until your mouth goes numb.

Hmm...
I think i still have curry somewhere in the larder from before i moved houses.
No one really knows what to do with this stuff it smells weird and tastes bitter.
But admittedly it was probably rotten.

I was actually craving curry earlier, for some reason (probably because my housemates were eating curry). Perhaps later today (once the sun comes up and stuff) I'll go eat some at the Indian restaurant just around the corner from my house. Usually I stick to their dosa when I eat there, but their curry is good too in my experience.

Unfortunately I don't eat that much actual curry anymore, since the only thing I really order from Indian restaurants is dosa... and my gut isn't big enough to fit a huge ol' dose of dosa and curry with rice. :-\ I had a really damn hot curry once in this dingy upstairs restaurant with cool, retro red decor above a little Indian supermarket. It was pretty great and contained lots of chickpeas. I was crying into my food before long, but by golly I finished it, yessir.

I don't eat curry very often, but when I do I usually enjoy it.  I tend to prefer Curry from Indian restaurants, rather than Thai ones.

My favorite to make at home is panang curry, followed by karee (Thai yellow curry, which is basically their version of Indian curry) and masaman curry. From the Indian side, you cant beat a good old-fashioned balti or achaari.

I have so many pots and plastic spoons which are permanently orange due to turmeric.  :D
