Really? The 1.3 Player's Handbook (p. 110) says "You can rescue an adjacent ally if your Aid stat is equal to or greater than their Constitution Stat - 1.", and since AID is usually CON-1 for unmounted characters, that should mean that they can rescue anyone with CON less than or equal to their own. There's nothing in Haspen's notes that says this has been changed. Is it just the way it has always worked on Bay12?

Edit: From 1.20 Handbook (p. 103) as linked at the FEF Hub - "You can rescue an adjacent ally if your Aid stat is equal to or greater than their Constitution Stat - 1."

From 1.22 Handbook (p. 102) - "You can rescue an adjacent ally if your Aid stat is equal to or greater than their Constitution Stat - 1."

Seems like this is more of a local habit than something from a specific version of the handbook.

Yeah, it's always been you can rescue someone with one less CON than you. That's the way it was in 1.2 and I suspect Hasp just didn't realize it changed.

Alright. Bye, Osim. This is why you shouldn't let your children become morbidly obese.

Yeah, we're just going to have to live with the fact that not all the villagers will survive.

And none of their attackers will either.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Note to Haspen: You seem to have created a clone of Assailant C instead of moving Assailant D. A-C attacked both Jann and Osim, and is in two places on the new map. A-D, OTOH, is still standing where he was last turn. Killer B is also just kinda standing there. Localized paralysis syndrome?

Thief D is the Thief C that is near Shaelynn.

Or just get on irc

That subtext has not escaped me. We'll see. I understand the convenience, but I don't enjoy being on realtime chat. It's like having a bunch of people babbling at you inside your computer. No time to think.

Edit: While we're talking, I might as well inform you that I'll be going on a real-life adventure tomorrow. I'll probably be able to post Thursday morning, but then I'll have no Internet access until late Friday or Saturday. Please post some nice actions for Arnold if my absence is holding the game up.

Eh. You don't need to pay attention to it all the time but it can be handy for quick responses and group planning
