What does a KO counter mean? I saw it in the OP as one of your homebrew rules but I'm not quite sure what that means for death and stuff.

Player Characters and named Allies have KO Counter, represented by 3 red triangles on the map when their HP goes to 0.

It goes down by 1 at start of new turn, so peeps have 3 turns to get you on your feet before you are permadead - 2 turns if you do a stupid and do a suicidal attack aka one that gets you counter-KO'd ;v

Ah. Thanks. So we're not permanently dead if we hit 0 HP, only if our allies ditch us, the bastards can't save us. Otherwise, methods such as Rescuing and clearing the map work to hold the timer up, yes?

Sorry if I seem noobish, my only experience with FE is the 3DS Fire Emblem games. :P

Da! Clearing the map auto-heals all units, and Rescuing puts a hold on KO counter till you're dropped onto the floor again.

Sorry if I seem noobish, I've literally only ever played the 3DS Fire Emblem games. :P

So. I can't quite make sense of Armoured works now. It reduces all damage under DEF + 4 to 0, right? So it's it just equivalent to +4 to defence? Does this mean that it affect magic attacks too? Or am I missing something here?
