A little barebones, but no problems I can see. As a Jockey, you could start with a ship, though. Nothing stopping you from acquiring one in the game if you prefer, of course.
Oh, Jockeys are allowed to start with ships?  What kind of ships?

It depends - chiefly on your background and classes. It won't be anything spectacular at start, but it might have a few tricks up their sleeve.

How about an old, patched-up patrol ship? Decent armament compared to a civilian vessel and quick, but a bit fragile and not really made to hold lots of cargo.

Sure. How old are we talking - is this Broo's old ship, a genuine United Earth Navy antique? That could be interesting.

I dunno about Tiruin (you are possibly referring to her, since she wrote plenty as well), but I can only write so much in one big burst of creativity-I actually enjoy writing that much if the game inspires me enough. I don't really have a 'how'-if I enjoy the concept of a game, it just flows naturally. I do tend to read alot (Recently been researching Cyberpunk 2077, so this was literally right up my alley) so alot sticks to my mind.

Of course, I needed to do a little research for this to find a plausible planet in our solar system that could house Brooklyn and her crazy family. :P

Hence, Enceladus, which AFAIK is an actual planet and potentially actually habitable. I find a 'little research' is good for creativity-it helps you ground your concept, give it some plausibility-inspiration!
