That's a nonspecific question.

The one you'll notice the most is pretty simple though. You'll feel your magic build up as you use more of it; some of you might have noticed unusually powerful bursts during the fight. The overcharge of magic has to be let out somehow, which can take various forms depending on how much was stored up.

Victor's face suddenly takes on a hue of bright pink.

"...Perhaps unnatural compulsions, strange emotions?  Hm?"

It often depends on the person in question, what sort of distortions happen. Some people's magic come from different places and manifest in different ways.

"Like...Generally, what kind of things can we expect?  Broad categories?"

Did Hara... shrug?

It's difficult to classify. Magic is not a stable thing.

"I'm not asking for anything extremely specific, Hara."

The small creature takes a moment to think. The one who explained it to me thought of them in three general types. One's connection to magic itself, positive feelings, and negative feelings.

"Hmmmm.  I think I see it.  So magic is 'inexplicable stuff happens', then, whereas the other two play off our emotions."

"Did you say that magic could... affect our emotions?"

"...That would be hard if you don't have any."

Anna seems to be making a joke.
