Miki twirls her brand-spanking new flintlock pistol and examines her cutlass, both weapons pulsing with green energy and covered with intricate patterns and carvings. She grins as she looks at her hat and pimpin' coat, looking around herself with awe. Sheathing her cutlass and keeping her flintlock, she twirls it in her hand once more, pointing it down and away from Hara and Hinata.
"And I even got the sweet hat and coat! Heh, well then. So, we're fighting that monster thing, right?"

"Magic can cause some changes to manifest when in use. Sometimes it's just clothes, sometimes it's actual changes to the body. It's nothing to worry about.

Yes, you need to fight the Youma now. It seems to have split itself to pursue you all, but that means each copy will be easier to defeat."

Victor stares. "A-are you sure we can... fight it?"

==A Moment Ago==

Anna accepts the contract, a feeling of trepidation in her gut as the power slams into her.  She feels like she's being torn apart, reshuffled, reforged into something she wasn't before.
As she bursts into a storm of light-blue rose petals whirling about a core that is simply a blue glow, she, despite her terror, is almost giddy with anticipation...
The petals, despite their immense speed, seem almost to slowly float into place, building up from the feet, through the body, out to the arms and head, leaving the girl draped in a cloak of flora that she shrugs aside, a gentle cascade revealing a simple white dress, as she instinctually plucks a flower matching the petals (and her new hair) from the air.

Then, and only then, does she take a moment to look at herself.

"OhmigoshI'mactuallyagirlnowthisisthebestdayofmylifethankyousomuch!!!!!!

Come on!  Let's go beat this thing up!"

She gleefully runs back the way she came, charging towards the Youma, a smile on her face despite the all-too-recent terror.

Hinata points the sword forward - it doesn't seem to weigh nearly as much as it really should - toward where the youma could still be heard. "OK! Let's do this! YAAAAAAAH!" She charges forward, bringing the sword into a two-handed grip above her head as she does so. Good thing the ceiling's higher than normal.

"Alright then. Time for round two, beastie."
Miki adjusts her hat, twirling her flintlock one more time. A confident, cocky grin grows on her face as she feels her magic surge in her and through her weapons. She rushes behind Hinata, her own cutlass at the ready as she draws it in her free hand.
"Alright! Let's make this showy!"

[Twinwolf]

Victor stares. "A-are you sure we can... fight it?"

"You have the others here. They just made contracts too. Together, I'm sure you can beat it."

Kyle looks around before his eyes are drawn to his new additions.
"... Tits."
With that said he runs off to find the others.

Victor looks at his charging classmates.
He puts his hands out, and closes his eyes.
Hands crackling with magical electricity, it coalesces into his hands, forming an... oversized lightbulb?
It orbit around Victor, filled with enough magical power to glow.
He looks at it and nods.
"... Alright. I'll try."
He jumps up, and flies towards the others, leaving a trial of sparks, some yellow and some blue.

The various Magical Girls (and boys) prepare for combat. Those that come into site of the Youma can actually see it now. It's still... wrong, but they can look at it without having an existential crisis now. It appears to be some sort of hodgepodge of insects, mostly a spider, with parts of flies and worms and other things in there. It also doesn't quite look... real. As though it were something a child drew when asked to describe a monster.

"Now that you have magic, you can use me as a sort of relay for your thoughts between each other. No matter where you are in the Nightmare, everyone else will hear you clearly. Like I said earlier, this Youma has split itself to catch all of you, but it did not count on your new power."

Anna, acting on instinct, slashes her flower through the air, the petals that drift off almost immediately turning into a variety of projectiles that rocket towards the spider thing.

Kyle (Kylie? Note to self, come up with fake name.) looks about in mild confusion before shrugging.
He moves to zone 5 and attacks Arachnae2.

Hinata charges into Zone 1 and takes a massive overhand swing at Arachnae-1!
