In addition, many Youma drop items called Oblivion Seeds; if you gather thirteen or more of these seeds, you can make a single wish. Using magic is dangerous, and can sometimes have side effects if build up is not vented regularly.

"I... am to assume we will die if we don't, yes?"

Hinata inhales deeply, then assumes a smile once more. "OK! Let's do this! What do I have to do now?"

"Yes.  Probably would have done it even without the impending magic deathkiller thing *shudder*, for reference, but yes."

"I... am to assume we will die if we don't, yes?"

"Most likely. It's not completely impossible that you'd survive, but extraordinarily unlikely."

"If you accept the contract, place a hand on one of my wings. State your acceptance of the contract. Then, I will give you the promised magic power."

Anna's hand is on the wing in an implausibly short amount of time "I accept the contract as stated"

Hinata places one hand resolutely on the wing. "I, Kimura Hinata, accept this contract!"

"I, Miki Satou, do solemnly swear that I am up to no goodaccept this contract! And I demand a sweet hat and coat with it!"

Kyle shrugs and puts a hand on the creature's wing.
"I'll take your contract. Not much choice in the matter anyhow."

A hand went to its wing. "...heh. The choice is obvious, then. Besides... I could just see it as a gamble. Risky, but with the potential of great reward. I accept your contract."

Victor places both hands on the scary lion cub thing's wing. "Oh god I accept I accept just please don't kill me I do't want to dieeeeee"

The various teenagers all make their contracts- some more formally than others, and some with more enthusiasm, but all the same contracts are made. There are flashes of light throughout the school- or what looks like the school, but is actually the Youma's Nightmare, Hara explains as this goes on- as the contracts are made nearly in unison. The group feel a moment of intense sickness, a flash of pain, and then a new feeling. Power? Elation? Something indescribable. When the feeling dissipates, the teenagers are standing where they were, but feeling... different. And looking different too.

Victor examines his new hat. "Wh-what the?! What just happened...?"

Hinata stands there, somewhat disoriented but feeling strangely good as well, in a shimmering, iridescent white dress trimmed with gold motifs along the shoulders and seemingly endless skirts. Two red ribbons trail along each side of her head, tied into neat bows on top, and a third one is nestled at the back of it. She reaches back and pulls out this last, it being golden rather than red, with a strange feeling that she should do so. As she does so, it expands dramatically into a sword. . . a sword that's actually longer than Hinata is tall, and about as broad as her head, with a blade of a dark, yet reflective gray and a golden line running down the center and becoming a handle. "Wow... This is amazing! So I have to fight that thing now, right?"
